Welcome to Evening Shade, a peaceful Smoky Mountain cabin designed for a quiet and comfortable getaway near Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and the Great Smoky Mountains.

This private cabin is ideal for guests looking for self check-in, mountain charm, and easy access to area attractions. Enjoy a comfortable living area, equipped kitchen, cozy sleeping spaces, WiFi, and relaxing outdoor space.

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
General & Kitchen: Leave beds unstripped. Place used towels in bathroom. Check for belongings. Wash dishes, start dishwasher, and remove leftover food from fridge/freezer.
Trash, Amenities & Setup: Take trash to outdoor bins (secure lids). Close hot tub cover. Extinguish fireplace. Clean grill if used. Set thermostat: 75°F (cool) / 65°F (heat).
Final Check & Departure: Lock all doors/windows. Report damages. Checkout by 10 AM. Late fees may apply. Secure trash—wildlife active. Drive safely.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Rental agreement must be signed before arrival. Primary renter must be 21+ and present during the stay.
No parties, events, indoor smoking, or unauthorized guests. Occupancy may not exceed the approved guest count.

Charming mountain cabin nestled in the mountains’s woods. The location is ideal for any activity you might want to enjoy. The outdoor hot tub is a great treat for relaxing after long day of hiking. We had a wonderful experience!

Great getaway

My husband and I booked a last minute getaway to the smokies. The cabin was perfect for the two of us. It was located central to everything we wanted to do and everywhere we wanted to go from Pigeon Forge to Gatlinburg to Douglas Lake. Check in was a breeze and they made sure to check in on us after our first night. We enjoyed quiet mornings and evenings on our private deck. We will definitely keep this on our list of places to stay in the future!

Great little cabin for a quick getaway for 2. Perfect distance to Pigeon Forge and to Gatlinburg. Less than 20min on regular traffic days. Also very close to the small business trail/loop near Gatlinburg full of small family businesses if you don’t want the touristy destinations. Even better is the hot tub. It’s a nice addition and great for a quick soak after a long day walking around the parks and city. We did not use the oven and used the fridge minimally. So can’t speak on those. We did not use the charcoal grill outside either. Shower pressure was really weak especially the hotter you turned the handle. But for a couple days it was fine. Would stay here again if we needed to. Nice local bar down the road also - beer only.

Regarding the shower pressure, since the cabin is on a mountain, so water pressure can fluctuate slightly depending on overall usage and temperature mix. It’s still within normal range, but we’ll double-check to make sure everything’s working as it should.
