Dotted with medieval towns like the unmissable Óbidos and many beautiful hermitages, Portugal’s western zone has plenty to offer. You need only travel a few miles to discover unspoiled wilderness, beautiful beaches or vineyards such as “Quinta dos Loridos”, which is famous for its sparkling wine and also has an impressive garden called “Buddha Eden”.
At the end of the journey, one thing is certain – Portugal’s western coast offers great beauty where visitors can enjoy sport (4 golf courses within 30 minutes drive), culture, museums, epicurean delights, blue ocean waters, sandy beaches and musical events of international renown.
