Great for groups who want to be together. Try zooming into us on the Map section to see them all. It is perfect for all ages who want to experience a comfortable house and its outdoor amenities in a great location. Get back to nature and have a campfire right out your door while surrounding yourself with nature. Kayaks, Canoe, Paddleboards are included at no extra cost.

Bring your own boat if you would like. We have a boat dock that is located right behind that house that we share with our guests. It is also great for fishing and swimming. Bring your floats and cooler and come to relax.

We welcome long term rentals. Our homes are fully furnished for easy in easy out. We have 4 true waterfront homes that are perfect for small families or couples. Please call for Monthly rates, as they vary. Many people use the Short Term feature to Test for a long term Stay.

Are you in town for family, friends a football, baseball, soccer, basketball, golf, ultimate frisbee, gymnastics or virtually any other sport? Our house is located just a few miles down the street from Toyota Stadium, Comerica Center, The Cowboys - Ford Center at the Star, National Soccer Hall of Fame and The Fieldhouse. There many other athletic venues close by.

Hydrous cable wake boarding park, Tinman Social, Little Elm beach and the fun Hula Hut Restaurant is across the cove from the house in Little Elm. Little Elm sandy beach park is just minutes away as well. There are also several marinas close by with on-the-water dining at Hidden Cove Park. The location of this house cannot be beat. A perfect place to stay when visiting the DFW area for a vacation or wanting a staycation.

Lewisville Lake is a Corps of Engineer Lake and shoreline. As adjacent property owners, we and our guests abide any restriction. Motorized vehicles forbidden off roadway.

This house slept me, my husband, and our three adult children perfectly! The owner, Jerry, was awesome and gave us tons of information on what to do in the area. Kitchen is fully stocked, beds are decently comfortable, and I loved that the living room had 3 comfortable couches for us to lounge on. I wish we had visited in the summertime so we could play on the lake, right from the backyard!

Awesome place!

Jeri was very accommodating and gave us all the information we needed as soon as we pulled up to the property! The house was so cute and comfy with an amazing view of the lake. We were able to bring our boat and park at the dock right behind the house. Definitely did not disappoint! My husband and I will for sure be back!!

Great location, close to everything bit feels like you are out in the country. The home is older but has everything you need. Bedrooms are small but the loft upstairs is great for extra space. Jerry was a great host and explained everything.

Great stay!

We had a wonderful time staying in this house! Although we visited during a heatwave, the lake kept us refreshed and the house stayed nice and cool as well. Our favorite activities were paddle boarding and going for our nightly sunset swims.

This house was great for everyone. We swam, fished off the dock, hiked, and went over to the awesome beach. We also went to Hula Hut and Towers restaurant, both were good places to eat and relax.

Beautiful sunset

5 minutes from town but felt like you were way out in the country. Beautiful sunsets & calm cove for watersports. The kids loved the loft beds & fire pit for s'mores.

Tranquility

This place was everything we were looking for. We were in town for a cheer competition. Location was peaceful and quiet, yet close to the city. The ideal place to unwind after a long, loud and crazy day of cheer comps. Jerry was very helpful and accommodating. Canoeing & kayaking were a hit with my family, we weren't there long enough for s’mores but would have loved to do that as well. The house had everything you would need to feel right at home, all you need are some groceries and you are set! We highly recommend and will definitely stay here again!

Summer vacation gateway

This is an excellent place with a great view to the lake. We really enjoyed our gateway, it is very relaxing and accommodating. Stores our just a few minutes away from the house. Jerry is very helpful and makes you feel comfortable. My kids really enjoyed their mini vacation at this place. We will definitely return!

Christmas at the Lake

My family and I stayed at this lake house the week of Christmas. The owner, Jerry, was very accommodating and responsive. Even though we did not have any issues that needed to be addressed during our stay, Jerry checked with me via text a couple times during the week to make sure everything was okay. The house was clean, the beds comfy, and even though the kitchen area was a little snug for preparing Christmas dinner, it was well stocked with everything we needed. The backyard area was very nice and even had a fire pit. Overall, my family and I really enjoyed our stay. I would not hesitate to rent the house again for a family gathering.

Great lake house

My family had to find a place to stay at the last minute due to our A/C going out at home. We had to wait for over a week for the part to come in for the repair. Jerry was very accommodating and helpful. He was a great host and we would definitely go back to stay at any of his other houses available.

Perfect Lakehouse

We had a great time! The owner, Jerry, is so nice and very accommodating. He genuinely wants your stay to be enjoyable. My husband, sons, mom and I loved being right on the lake. Even though we were close to Dallas, we spent most of our time at the lakehouse, swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking and feeding the ducks. The house and grounds are very well maintained and clean. The view of the lake from the entire wall of windows was breathtaking at all times of the day and night. We are already talking about coming back.

Our family of five adults stayed here for the Christmas holiday. It was nice and clean. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils. The two bedrooms are very small but the beds are comfortable. A word of caution though. The shower is very small and the shower head is only about 5 feet high, which made it very difficult for the three men in our family who are all over 6 feet tall. The circular stairs are pretty narrow. The view of the lake is beautiful!!

Great house on the lake

Great little house with a perfect view of the lake and right on the water. The owner lives a couple houses down and stopped by and introduced himself and is a super nice guy. Very knowledgeable on the area and very helpful from even before we got checked in and reaching out to us from check in until we headed home. The rooms were a little smaller than we would have liked but very comfortable house for our family of 5. They have paddle boards and kayaks available for use. We took our own jet skies but it looked like the neighbors had rented some so I’m sure that’s available. Will definitely be staying with Jerry again.

We both grew up in different communities around Lake Lewisville. As kids it was just a part of our everyday life to spend a large amount time playing and enjoying lake activities with our families. Even after getting married we would rush home from work to ski until dark. After we began our family we knew that we wanted our kids to experience what lake life was like too. We found our house on the lake while our kids were in elementary school and took a chance on an old neighborhood. It was strange, but after looking all around the lake for many years we landed here simply because we noticed that even though the initial neighborhood drive up wasn't as appealing to the eye as we thought we wanted -it had a relaxing feel that you couldn't deny. It was a strong feeling once you were on the lakefront side of the house that somehow created a sense of ease. It is a place where you can feel stress release out of your body. Somehow once you arrive and settle in and allow the sights, smells, tastes, and experience to take over - you can transform your inner dialogue to become more at peace and full of joy.

Our family has grown to love the area as much as we do and our Mother and two of our children live in the neighborhood with their families. In our family alone, there are 4 generations still enjoying it here.

Why they chose this property

This entire neighborhood began when Lake Lewisville was created. People came from Dallas to enjoy a relaxing weekend and for great family fun. At that time, our little neighborhood consisted of small lakefront cabins that were built just for getaway purposes. As the stories go - this was a magical place out in the middle of nowhere where lots of memories were made. Today, as the city has made its way closer to the area, it still maintains a vibe of stepping back in time. Many of the little cabins still stand today, but have been remodeled and updated. However, upon arrival to the neighborhood you might think you are not in the right area. Part of the uniqueness is that "things aren't always what they seem" or "you can't judge a book by its cover". Both of these sayings hold true in our neighborhood. This is a place where it is safe, everyone knows everyone, and everyone looks after each other.

We try to greet our guests soon after arrival to answer any questions they might have. We like to be available, but will also respect privacy. Once you have settled in you will begin to experience the uniqueness. The houses are what we like to call perfectly imperfect. All our houses are professionally cleaned after each guest . They all have been updated and are fully furnished, but do still have little quirks and imperfections. In fact, it's the little quirks and imperfections that add to the charm.

We are available in case there is a concern or something that needs attention. Part of the draw for our places is that everyone knows everyone. Once people have come to live or stay many times they feel like they have become part of a family. As the older generation began selling we started to buy so that we could share the fun and joy with others in a setting like the neighborhood's original families did. The houses are small and not necessarily a fit for year round living, but they are still perfect for the shorter term and vacation.

What makes this property unique

All of the houses are true lakefront with a wall of windows across the back. It has the feel of being outdoors even while inside. Or enjoying the sunrise or sunset while drinking a beverage of choice. There are truly so many wonderful unique benefits to our houses and neighborhood. However, if you are wanting an experience of a full service hotel/resort this may not be the perfect fit.

Our goal is not to entertain or organize your adventure, but to be available if you have questions, concerns or just want to chat.

We also provide kayaks, canoe, paddle boat, paddle boards for our guests to use at no additional charge. Lifejackets must be worn and a liability waiver signed before use.
