Lakefront Family Retreat: Dock, Firepit & Mtn View

Stunning lake & mountain views with easy water access, big private dock, and fire pit. This upscale lakefront lodge in a gated community sleeps large groups comfortably across multiple levels. Water equipment included: paddleboards, canoe & paddleboat. Spacious kitchen, beamed living room with fireplace, sunroom, bunk room, and a renovated addition with folding patio doors. Minutes from Marion & Morganton. Biltmore, Grandfather Mountain & Linville Falls nearby.
The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
•Load and start the dishwasher
•Gather used towels
•Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
•Turn off the lights, lock the doors, and return the keys
•Start a load of towels and leave beds turned down. •Brush off grill
•Make sure all fires are extinguished
•Put outdoor equipment and furniture back in original place.
•Take excess trash to the convenience center located outside the main entrance gate, turn right and it is on the left. Please check hours, it is closed on Sundays.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Absolutely No smoking, no pets, no groups over 10, no events/gatherings. Do not leave trash outside containers/remove excess trash.

The house was fantastic. Plenty of room and one of the best views on the lake. It is also an easy walk down to the two story dock where we spent lots of time jumping and swimming off of. Highly recommend this property if you are looking to stay on Lake James.

Little piece of heaven!

My family spend 2 weeks at this very perfectly located house! The house had plenty of space and super easy access to the lake! The views were so beautiful! Loved it so much we are booked for next year!

paradise on the lake

the house is very accommodating for my whole family! we always love time in the mountains and enjoy swimming, boating and wave runners on the beautiful clean lake! always sad to leave but will definitely be back!

Great space for big family

We had a wonderful time at Lake James. The house was great and an easy walk to the water which was great. Kitchen was well stocked and plenty of room. Bedrooms were large and comfortable. It was nice to have two living areas too.

We really enjoyed our time at the Lake House. There was plenty of room for our party of 11, ranging in age from 5-72! The view was the best in the lake. There were plenty of water toys to keep us busy. Highly recommend!

Lovely Property

The view from this property was hard to leave! The home offers a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and enjoyable common areas both inside and out. Our family enjoyed it immensely from the little ones to the grandparents! We will be back.

Fantastic Experience!

We absolutely loved our stay. In fact, we loved it so much we extended our reservation. The house is beautiful and located on a gorgeous part of Lake James. The easy walk from the house down to the lake was especially nice given you almost have to be a mountain goat to get to some of the houses on the lake from their docks. We'll definitely be back!!!

Great house! Plenty of space. Each bedroom having its own bathroom was awesome for our group. Nice community. Communication with property manager was very easy, Karen was always available to help remedy issues quickly. I would recommend this for larger groups/family vacations.

We all were extremely pleased with this house! We arrive to a spotless house, comfortable, well appointed kitchen and amenities, and fabulous view. Management was quickly responsive to our issues….tho the security alarm chirping was only a temporary fix……did not interfere with us enjoying the house, tho. Definitely would stay here again!!

Amazing location

We usually spend one week each summer at Lake James and this time did not disappoint, the house and view were amazing, and the gradual slope to the dock was great. Many of the homes have a steep drop on Lake James, and kids playing is usually met with nervousness. We will definitely book this house again.
