Minutes to DE TURF FIELDS. Quiet beach community.

Great getaway for those looking for a more quiet beach experience. We are located only 1/4 mile from the bay. A mere 10 minutes from DE Turf! We are only 30 minutes from the popular beach resorts of Delaware with loads of activities for the family. Seafood lovers will enjoy the endless supply of local seafood restaurants available. Public boat slip available. Jps on the wharf is a favorite in Bowers Beach. The town will host live music every 3rd Friday in the summer months. Jps also has live music most weekends in the summer months, outside seating available on the wharf. Memorial weekend will bring out the Pirates for the towns annual Buchaneer Bash. Our home offers a large deck to relax on that faces the marshes of the bay. We have 3 bedrooms plus a queen pullout, all with new mattresses. A small BBQ grill is available for your use, propane gas will be a $10.00 charge. Eating seating for 9 as well as sleeping for 9 with 2 full bathrooms. The home has been recently renovated and everything is brand new. You can walk the beach easily...stroll down to the docks, stop at Jps for a bite, take your own boat out or hop aboard the Captains Lady which offers charter fishing trips as well as moonlight trips. Check their schedule for events. Bowers is truly a hidden gem. Come check it out for yourself.
A hold harmless agreement must be signed prior to use for fire pit and BBQ grill. Prior notice must be given so that we can unlock them.

Thanks for your kind words. The beach homes with wells do struggle with the sulphur odor. We did install a high efficiency water conditioner unit. Culligan tests the water quarterly and assures us the water is perfectly safe for use. Im glad you enjoyed the home. Come see us again.

Nice weekend stay

We had a great time at Brenda's place; very comfortable home with enough room for 3 teens and 2 adults. It's quiet and charming and very close to Rehoboth and Lewes beaches. Would definitely stay again!

Lovely vacation home

We had a great vacation experience at this home! The house is newly built (or renovated) and everything is accordingly well maintained and clean. Bowes beach is in walking distance. This is a perfect stay for a family.

Great location near DE Turf

We had a great stay at this property while in town for a tournament at DE Turf. Hands down better then a hotel and less than 15 min from the fields. We had 3 families and were very comfortable. Communication with the owner was great. We will definitely look to this property for future tournaments at DE Turf. Thank you!

Lovely house and town

Bowers Beach is a hidden gem! We stayed here while working a tournament at the DE turf complex. The location is perfect. The house is so comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed the stretch of beach and restaurant on the water. We will definitely be back next summer!

Great location

House is cute and perfect for what we needed. Owners were responsive and let us stay an extra hour after check out. Only thing that would have been nice would be a little cleaner house - there are cobwebs and lots of bugs (which are not the owners fault) but are frustrating.

Beautiful home close to the beach

We had an amazing stay! Brenda was easily reached when needed, she was kind and responsive. My children and I had an incredible time at the buccaneer bash and playing on the beach. The house was absolutely beautiful and my children loved the room upstairs. The house was very well maintained and decorated beautifully. The beds were super comfortable! It’s a wonderful house for a family to stay and enjoy the short ride to the beach!

Exactly what we needed

This property was great. Looks like a brand new house. Very comfortable. We were in town for a lacrosse tournament and the house was great as only about 10 minutes to the DE Turf fields. Appreciate that the host provided some camp chairs for us to use. Host was very accommodating and prompt with communication. Beds comfortable. The kitchen had plenty of supplies which is always a bonus. Even had some beach towels for us to use. Thanks so much for a great place. When we return to Delaware we will definitely rent again.
