About the host

Host profile image
Hello! My family of five is from eastern South Dakota and we make Needles Nest our home seasonally. My husband is a GIS vegetation scientist, and I stay home with our children. Our family enjoys hiking, reading, crafting, and music.

Why they chose this property

While we both grew up on the prairie, the Black Hills have always held a special place in our hearts. We bought Needles Nest because the house offers enough space and rooms for multiple families or friends to gather, and the gorgeous property provides the tranquilly and rest so many desire. We thoughtfully designed and furnished Needles Nest with families in mind, and we hope it feels like home when you're visiting!
