Adjacent to its counterpart, Howlin' at the Moon, this retreat offers a serene ambiance with two bedrooms, private bathrooms, and a cozy loft featuring a queen-sized bed. Unwind in the expansive pool equipped with jets and a hot tub, or engage in various entertainment options, including a TV, air hockey, and an arcade game boasting over 3000 games.

Immerse yourself in the tranquility and natural beauty of the surroundings while enjoying the covered decks on both the main level and basement, where you can revel in awe-inspiring mountain panoramas. Barkin' at the Moon warmly welcomes dogs for $35 per dog per night, ensuring a pet-friendly retreat. Please note that cats are not permitted due to the owner's allergies.

During the winter season, a 4-wheel drive vehicle is essential to access the property, although the steep driveway is easily manageable. Each cabin provides parking space for two vehicles, with additional parking available at the bottom of the driveway. Overall everything was great even when the AC wasn’t working good the owner got us a window unit and some fans the next morning and only thing I would have to say that the road to the cabin is steep

Fun time!!

This cabin was a huge hit with my adult children and my young ones too. We really didn’t go anywhere as our goal was to spend quality time, and the cabin with games and indoor pool made it fun and possible to just hang and relax. We will be back!! :)

Nice weekend in the Smokies

The cabin was beautiful and cozy. It was nice and quiet and very close to town. The pool was great! We loved the air hockey table and arcade games. The road up to the cabin is a bit of an adventure, definitely didn't want to drive it at night. Parking was very tight with two SUVs but we felt accomplished getting them both in the spots, and grateful that the other cabin only had one car so that we could turn around and back in. The host was super friendly and helpful and quick to respond when we had questions. This is the first pet friendly cabin experience Ive had, it made me wish I had a dog with all the fun amenities for them around the cabin! Thank you for a fun weekend!

Beautiful Cabin

This cabin has lots of amenities, even for the dogs. It is secluded with woods all around yet still close to Pigeon Forge. We enjoyed having the indoor pool and hot tub. The air hockey table and arcade games were lots of fun, too. The cabin was very clean and we would stay here again.

Weekend Getaway

We had a great stay for a long weekend. The kids loved the pool and the games and our dog loved all the new smells and watching the small animals in the woods from the porch. Location is good - close enough to the fun and also somewhat secluded. Little details were great. Snack basket, good quality shampoo/condition, and plenty of dishwater. Hosts were very responsive and easy to communicate with. Thanks for a great stay!

Our family loved the cabin! Hidden in the mountains so close to everything in Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Sevierville. Kids loved the indoor pool and we all loved the outdoor decks. Comfortable beds, super clean and very well appointed!

Why they chose this property

It was love at first sight with these cabins! Traveling with a multi-generational crew the layout of these cabins allows for us to travel together and have space privacy for each family. We love the fact that these cabins are on nearly 5 acres, with plenty to explore, and can be rented together or separately.
These cabins hold sentimental value in that the logs that are in this cabin came from the sawmill that my grandfather and uncle ran when Jaime was a child. Once we learned this fact, we knew it was meant to be!
