We traveled to Wasilla as part of our state's hockey tournament. Our boys LOVED the playroom, it was the perfect place for them to play knee hockey. WE would definitely stay here again!
The great view of the lake and mountains outside was ever changing. The game room was nice to have for the one rainy day we had. The location was convenient for heading north into Talkeetna and south for activities near and around Anchorage.
This house is beautiful and updated on a gorgeous lake, even frozen in winter! The kitchen is big and well stocked and plenty of room to relax and enjoy company!
House was perfect for our large family. Watching the planes land and take off from the lake was fun. One thing I would recommend would be a stereo in the house.
So glad we chose Lucille Lakes home.
Everything we needed was supplied and the home was absolutely beautiful. Such a great location and view with a dock to fish from and caught 4 salmon. Children enjoyed the grounds and even took a swim. Highly recommend this.
We loved our stay in your gorgeous home. You thought of all the amenities. We will be back. You can't beat the views and the lake activities, my son in law caught 3 fish and we went kayaking at midnight! You can't get any better than this property. We loved our stay and will be back!!
Our family loved our stay at the Lucille Lake house. We were there for a family wedding. Beautiful lake scenery, kayaking, paddle boarding, grilling, fishing, playing games - foosball, ping pong and dartboard. Our hosts Jodie and Carolyn was accommodating for our family needs. We took so many photos and videos while there and saw floater planes fly in and out of that lake. House also had beautiful artwork of Iditarod and history of Alaska books. Close by stores and amenities. We would love to come back. Thank you for a memorable stay.

Thank you for the kind review! We hope to see you again soon!
Loved this place. Decor was cute. Kitchen bath and laundry room stocked with essentials. Check in/check out was so easy. I made changes to my reservation which were accommodated easily. Ample parking. Had breakfast at Best Western most mornings. Traveled to Palmer. Anchorage and even Seward - location was a bit removed but close enough. Played with the paddle boards and kayaks and fishing gear. Would recommend.
This was our home base for our family reunion. We very comfortably slept 7 adults and 5 children in the home, with each family unit having their own large room. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking and baking supplies, just couldn't find the blender. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the game room. The view of the lake is spectacular and we had a a great time kayaking and swimming, and used the firepit almost every night. Lots of stores within 5 - 10 min drive away - very convenient!
An amazing place. Great for big family get together. We visited in the winter but would love to return in the summer and enjoy all the lake activities. The kitchen had everything you could want for a long stay. Entire house was impeccably clean. The host was quick to respond every time I contacted her. Location is close to everything in Wasilla. The two final things I’d like to mention were the welcome basket and the information book. Small touches that speak volumes of the pride the host takes in their property. Thanks for a great stay and we look forward to returning.
Great house in a fantastic location! The host was incredibly easy to work with - great check in communication, great responsiveness to all inquiries before and after booking. I can not recommend this house enough. We gathered family for Christmas, and had 3 families with children, and the grandparents. Everything was perfect - plenty of room to hang out together, great converted garage for games, and super location on the lake to sled, set up the ice fishing tent, and just have a ton of fun inside and outside. When we go back in the summer we will definitely try to stay here again, because I imagine it will be every bit as amazing of a location in the summer. And the host couldn’t be better to work with.
Overall, we were well pleased with the stay and the property. The game room was an unexpected pleasure and kids of all ages enjoyed hanging out there as we had much rain during our stay. It was very nice to have access to the paddle boards and kayaks. The large floor plan allowed all of us to be together or split off into our own rooms when down time was needed.
We were disappointed with the cleanliness of the unit--especially the deck areas that need a real overhaul. The bathroom rugs, floor corners and stove needed attention. The limited paper products (TP, paper towels, garbage bags) were an inconvenience but the property manager was very responsive in getting them to us.
We were thoroughly impressed with the property and its fantastic location. We visited in winter, and the frozen lake created an incredible, almost magical experience. The space was spacious, spotless, and conveniently located near shops and amenities. Highly recommend!
Perfect location, comfortable, convenient, lovely Lake house.
Location, Location, Location Alaskan lake home base. (1 hr Drive from Anchorage) Rooms with a view and a gift of perfect weather. We had a 5 star Alaskan vacation. Arrived late in the evening to find requested breakfast food in the fridge. Morning coffee with majestic views of the mountains, sea planes and a visit from a bald eagle welcomed us. Attended a wedding in Palmer (1/2 hr drive ), Day trip to Hatchers Patch (1/2 hr. drive ) Trek & photos, Private charter Salmon fishing trip in Seward witnessed glaciers, hump back whales, our Coho catch, deep freeze and shipped back to CT upon our return. (4 hr beautiful drive 1 night stay over) (Amazing). Flight seeing Denali tour with Glacier landing from Talkeetna (1.5 hr drive, cool town).(Denali unbelievably Amazing). Worth every penny.
Jodi our host provided us with friendly, helpful almost instant response, recommendations include reservations to the best restaurants 100% attention to details. Greatful & Amazing
We had a wonderful stay during our family gathering. Some kayaked; others used paddleboards and played a cornhole tournament, while others enjoyed walking the adjacent grounds of the hotel. The house was clean and we enjoyed the great views. The host was very quick to respond to questions. Highly recommended.
Super nice lake house set up with three bedrooms and a large loft area with multiple beds for kids. They had two kayaks and two inflatable paddle boards we could use. Very nice common space downstairs for gatherings.
