Located in Brantingham, this lodge is in the mountains and on a river. Brantingham Golf Course and Snow Ridge Ski Area are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Otter Creek State Forest and Independence River State Forest. Enjoy the area's slopes with cross-country skiing, snowboarding and skiing, and don't miss out on the snowmobiling.
Our family lodge has been an annual getaway vacation spot for gathering with friends and family to relax, go horseback riding in the nearby state park, boat around on Brantingham Lake, and to gather by the campfire to tell stories. It is quiet, peaceful and serene; often inviting local wildlife such as the deer to come up to the scenic back windows early in the morning while you rest your feet just on the other side. The lodge is suited to accommodate large gatherings with 9 bedrooms and 15 beds. It has been common to have over 30 people staying comfortably all at the same time. The Lodge has plenty of other activities available, including ATV trails nearby, access to various rivers and creeks for kayaking or canoeing and even a local favorite swimming hole on Otter creek with natural rock slides that we have enjoyed over the years.

Good location, easy access for trailers, large living room for big groups. The property manager was professional, answers questions and responses quickly.
We really enjoyed the property. My family consisting of my Mom, me and my husband and our four sons and their children, 23 total, had a great stay! The yard was perfect for Bocci Ball and Otter Creek with the natural water slides was definitely a very fun outing each day!! Thanks for the use of your lodge
We love staying at this property. It's perfectly sized and located for our annual ATV trip! Thank you for letting us stay at your property. We look forward to next year!
This property worked great for out family gathering of 16 people. Lots of bedrooms and wonderful open kitchen, dining, living room. We also enjoyed using the open outdoor fire pit. Communication with the property manager was awesome as we needed a last minute (like day before check-in) rental and they worked with us to make it happen. Otter Creek down the road from the property was by far the families favorite excursion several of the days during our stay.
Our stay was just what we hoped for!! Plenty of room for our large family. Loved the quiet secluded backyard. We lost power one night, Because of the weather. Owner checked in on us making sure we didn’t have any issues. Owner also was very accommodating letting us in a little early. We had everything we needed for a weeks long stay. Will be back.
This location had a great layout for our family of 21 to be together. The open kitchen/living area and spacious backyard accommodated all of us for group activities. While it's obviously a beloved family cottage, regular maintenance and upkeep is lacking. Lots to overlook in the way of basic offerings - some saggy mattresses, mildew in bathrooms, fetid odor emitting from built-in wood kitchen trash bins, warped drawers, dull knives, only one cutting board, no replacement lightbulbs, dusty fans and vent covers and two made beds upon arrival had dirty sheets that needed to be washed. There's no dishwasher, so bring paper plates and cups. Be sure to use the Deet provided as several in our group found embedded ticks :(.While we had higher expectations, there was a great set-up for outdoor fun, games, a serene, relaxing setting and beauty in the surrounding area to enjoy. We all had a great time!
We wanted a place in the Adirondacks for a Family Reunion for about 25 people. This cabin fit the bill and was conveniently located for all. Ken was very responsive to a multitude of questions prior to our arrival. The only small issue we had was with the bathroom situation. Two of the three bathrooms were nestled inside bedrooms with no access from the hallway. Once those people went to bed, we were down to one bathroom for the other 20 people.

Frustrating
We stayed for 3 night with 20 guests. Everything was great when we got there as check-in was easy. The first night we had no hot water starting around 10 pm. I wasn't aware until the next morning because my mother tried to shower and couldn't. I contacted Dan once I knew around 10 am and was unable to reach him until 6 pm. All the numbers in the house log book were wrong and the property maintenance individual said that the property owner changed companies. He finally sent a electrician over and fixed it around 7:30 pm The reasoning was a fried wire which he showed to my mom. Everyone showered and around 9 or 10 pm the power went out. The house didn't have a back up generator so we sat in the dark for sometime. The power didn't come back on until 6am. I am aware that these things happen but when I contacted the owner again. He told me that the house was his parents and that he was unsure what was going on. I had to pry to get him to check with national grid. We didn't know if it was something else with the house or if it was a true power outage. We didn't have much phone service and the door keypads wouldn't work. The owner also told me that the property is his parents and didn't really seem like he knew how to handle the situations that arose. The next morning we were again without any water as Dan forgot to mentioned that the water had to be reset after the power outage. He contacted his father, gave us the code to the room that the water system was in and we fixed it. We r
