Great Location in Down Town Miami

It’s a studio and can easily accommodate 2 adults . Nothing spectacular just a pad…a place to sleep and bathroom with a small kitchen. It would be nice if the host provided with extra coffee pods, body wash and towels. Over all I was there for 2 nights and didn’t spend much of the day in the room.

This was to be our first stay at a VRBO property, but we should have chosen a better property considering this listing had (0) reviews when we booked. We were to stay 3 nights at the beginning of August, however due to a medical condition we were unable to travel. We reached out via the 'change dates' option 10 days prior to booked check-in date requesting to change to early September. The host never responded to our message and calling the host was unsuccessful as every time we attempted to call, it wouldn't even ring or go to voicemail, instead it was "the mobile subscriber you're trying to reach is unavailable, please try your call again later". After more than half a dozen calls to VRBO, spending more than 5 hours on the phone total, VRBO also was not able to reach the host via email nor phone.. until the day of check-in. VRBO advised us to call on the check-in day/time so we called them shortly after the official check-in time and by then we still had not been able to reach the host, nor had the host responded to our date change message. The host also had not even provided the check-in instructions/info. It was not until after the official check-in day/time that the host finally answered the phone when VRBO called and connected the host to us. The host admitted that he had seen our date change request, but proceeded to tell us the place was unavailable the dates we wanted to change to, despite that we searched for the dates and the listing showed as available (it was why we chose the dates we wanted with our date change request). The owner said he didn't respond to our date change request because it wasn't available. The refund policy on this listing is full refund if cancelled within 14 days of check-in. 50% refund if cancelled within 7 days of check-in and NO refund if cancelled less than 7 days from check-in. We reached out to change dates 10 days prior to check-in and the owner ghosted us. We wanted to change dates, not cancel. It is very clear the owner ghosted us on purpose and didn't finally respond to us until it was finally after our check-in day/time when he knew he wouldn't have to refund us anything. We won our dispute with credit card company and got our full money back.
