Pond on the property has 3 kayaks for guest use. Enjoy the sunset and a bonfire at this tranquil location. Visit the headwaters of the Mississippi river at beautiful Itasca State Park, only 45 minutes away. Hunters and fishermen welcome. 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. No pets allowed.

We loved staying here. Very peaceful. The house is well maintained and well stocked. The level of comfort is outstanding. Loved meeting the cat and dog. My husband enjoyed a brief chat with Mike.Highly Recommend staying at this location.

The advertisement was exactly as promised. What a beautifully tranquil location! The property was very clean, welcoming and had a lot of extra touches, like firewood, games, books, WiFi, friendly pets who loved to visit and snuggle. Would definitely recommend staying here. We will if/when we are back in the area. Thank you!!!

Family visit

We were visiting family in Fosston and this was a great place for us to stay. The house had everything we needed and the owners were friendly and accommodating. We loved being met by the dog and cats across the way who were all very sweet and friendly. The yard was a great place for the kids to play and the house was in a nice quiet location just outside of town.

Homey and Spacious

This place was perfect for our large family - large family and dining space, many rooms and beds, lots of space to roam and explore outside. We enjoyed visiting the surrounding towns and also spent cozy nights indoors with games and movies. Thank you for offering such a wonderfully kept home!

Just as great as the first time

We stayed there for Christmas and came back for our grandson's 1st birthday. It was just as nice as the first time. We'll be staying there more in the future. It's a great place for us. Plenty of room and very comfortable.

Cozy property that gave all of us room to spread out. Some thoughtful touches like a courtesy jug of water. Loved the friendly cats and dogs that would accompany me on my morning walks.

Family vacation

We had a lovely time there with our family. We had planned on a snowmobile trip but the lack of snow dampened those plans. Instead we just did small day trips and hung out, played games, had a fire by the pond, explored the property. Was very relaxing.

Great place!

We were all so impressed! The pictures don’t do it justice. Very huge deck with beautiful scenery all around. 4 bedrooms, huge living room, and plenty of space. The lake is beautiful with all the accessories. Really great time, and will be back!

Special Gem

My 2 teens + 2 teen friends stayed at Sweet Grandma's Retreat. What a special gem! The house is as listed, and the pond is special treat with water fun and a place for a nice campfire to roast s'mores. The morning greetings from the farm dog and cat- was such a fun way to start the morning! Communication was great- and questions were answer extremely fast! Even the TEENS approved and said they want to stay again!! Thank you for sharing this property!

Relaxing weekend with family and friends

We loved our stay at the farm! The kids (5, 3, 2, and 1) had a blast playing at the pond and in the yard. The house was really clean and well stocked with everything we could possibly need and more. The host was really friendly and even brought us fresh corn on the cob, which was delicious. We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evening, it’s very peaceful and quiet. The dogs were great company outside, and the new kitty was a highlight for everyone! We would highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a quiet getaway. We hope to be back next year!

Absolutely Stunning

The property is wonderful! Out in the Country on gravel away from it all. The house is as pictured, lots of space for the whole family, plenty of room outside to let the kids play. The wrap around deck provides a nice relaxing evening to watch the sunset and the hummingbirds! Hot watered lasted through all 8 people showering and laundry- huge PLUS!!! The host was very quick to respond and even did us a huge favor one day and went in and turned on the crockpot for our supper while we were away. Highly recommend to anyone looking to escape the world for a week!
