Welcome to Chimney Mountain Cabins!

Our peaceful cabin community is perfect for individual stays or larger group gatherings, accommodating up to 20+ guests when all five cabins are reserved together.

We offer five rustic 2-bedroom cabins, each featuring a fireplace, private hot tub, BBQ grill, and rocking-chair porch—everything you need for a classic mountain getaway. Conveniently located just outside the Village of Helen and near Anna Ruby Falls, our cabins sit along the edge of the National Forest, with walking and hiking trails right on the property.

Chimney Mountain Road is a scenic 4.5-mile gravel road winding through a quiet, wooded setting at the base of Chimney Mountain—ideal for biking, walking, or simply soaking in the fresh mountain air. Guests (and their pups!) love exploring the area and enjoying the natural surroundings.

The community also features two shared fire pits, including one in the central common area and another at the pavilion, which offers a picnic table and outdoor ping-pong table. Families will appreciate the large playset and swings, giving kids a place to play while adults relax by the fire.

Great Cabin in the woods

We had a great time at this cabin. The hot tub works great, which we totally enjoyed. It’s just a very short drive to all of the major hot spots. Would definitely stay here again.

Pre Christmas vacation

We had a wonderful time on the property as well as Helen.It rained all day on that Sunday so we stayed at the property and they had a game room the kids enjoyed and we grilled and ate there that night.

Loved our stay.

It was nice to finally return to La Torre and we really enjoyed our stay, we did not use the outdoor area as much as we would have hoped due to the weather although it did look perfect if the weather had been warmer, the hot tub was fantastic and certainly made our stay much more enjoyable. Would be more than happy to return and to also recommend this place to family’s or friends looking for somewhere to stay.

Relaxing cabin close to everything

We had a great time at the cabin. It has everything you need and is very close to Helen and unicoi state park. We had a really lovely time exploring the area and enjoyed the tranquil cabin with the large porch.One minor thing to note is the doors on the bedrooms were more like saloon doors and didn’t fully close. This was fine for us since we are family with a young kid but could be challenging for couples. We definitely would return again!!

The cabin was nice. However, there was no can opener, so after treading to the grocery store, we could not open the canned food. Also, we washed all of our clothes the night before leaving and the dryer was broken, so we took home a load of wet clothes. Horrible!

Short get away

Nice cabin in the mountains but you are not secluded. Cabin neighbors and you still have your space. Loved the rockers on the porch and the woodsy atmosphere. Short drive to Helen to see the village.

For the price it definitely needs an upgrade on the coffee pot that fills your pot full of grounds. Get a kcup maker already. The tp and paper towels Are so cheap it's like sand paper. It was very clean, cozy, and quiet. Although don't expect wifi connection.

Fantastic mountain experience

My husband and I had a great trip together. We had a tag along, our beagle, Ms. Maggie Mae. This property had everything that we needed, and it was very close to many of the hiking trails and waterfalls. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and we slept soundly each night. We were able to take a break and use the fire pit, pool table, and recreation area. The Jacuzzi was a great treat after a long fay of hiking and or trekking around Helen, Georgia. We use the back deck and enjoyed all the sounds of nature coming from the backwoods. All in all a great experience, and we plan to return again. Thank you so much!

Sisters vacation

Beautiful area, cute cottage, very clean and quiet. Mattresses super comfy, water pressure perfect. Small hiccup with Wi-Fi and hard to call out b/c of cell phone coverage in area. Couldn’t get ahold of property manager by phone but was able to email them from town, quick response. Short drive to downtown Helen. Kitchen chairs very uncomfortable- couldn’t sit outside long because of bugs - next time I’ll be more prepared. No kitchen sponge or dishrag or shampoo- reasonably priced- would definitely stay at this spot again

Several things noted- light bulb in kitchen over the table burnt out. The furniture in the pictures is not what is in the cabin- living room sofa, small dresser/night stand in back bedroom as well as no chairs in both bedrooms. No baskets by the hot tub filled with towels as pictured. Some recommendations for future- don’t list washer and dryer if they are not working. Was a little upset because I always bring laundry soap and do a load so I’m not bringing dirty clothes home. Add grab bars to the shower stalls and next to toilets for elderly people or people with mobility issues. Add hooks in shower areas so you can hang up pajamas, bathrobe or towels to dry. Add a small shelving unit to the side of the bathroom sinks for additional space to place toiletries. Leave fireplace instructions and exit/departure instructions in the white binder.

The cabin was comfortable for a family,although a bit remote ,and difficult to find. However, the management sent very good directions. The hot tub was very nice to have after a long day of walking. However,it did take a long time to heat up,and the jets weren't very strong. The outside lighting was very good.

This little cabin was clean and comfy. It had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. Bed was comfy. Kitchen had everything we needed. Location was not horrible...but drive from Helen was a little rough. Cabin was very clean. Hot tub...oh...the best. We definitely enjoyed having a hottub right on back porch...covered and private. I would definitely recommend this cabin!!! Thank you for our amazing stay here!

The cabin was very cute and clean. Had enough kitchen items to cook a simple meal, even had a pancake skillet which was great. Nice quiet spot. Only issue was a slight odor in cabin. The amenities on the property (pool table, darts, and fuzball table in Ill repair.
