Charming post and beam with vaulted ceilings, one bedroom with loft, large common space and covered parking. It is located up on a hill in Fayston just 5 minutes from Waitsfield center and Mt. Ellen. The secluded property has a stream and beautiful views of Lincoln Peak, Mt. Ellen and Mad River Glen. The living space includes a fully equipped kitchen, a dining table, a TV/sitting area and a pool table. Bedroom has king size bed and a loft with 3 single beds. There is a large bathroom with a shower and plenty of storage. This apartment has all major appliances including a dishwasher and a separate laundry room with washer and dryer.

The carriage house was the perfect place for my husband, myself, and our grandson! The setting is spectacular with a view of the trails at Mad River Glen and the surrounding forests. We loved the open floor plan, post and beam style. The hosts had every amenity you could possibly need and we felt so at home there for our 5 night stay. Every evening, we enjoyed a pool competition with our grandson. We would love to go back next summer!

Beautiful house with everything we needed. Kitchen was well stocked. Lots of towels. Very clean. Note the stairs up to the lift are very steep so not the best if you have really little kids but worked for our tweens and teen.

This is a perfect place if you love the quiet and peace of nature. We made a few meals in the kitchen which is well equipped with anything you might need. The bed was extremely comfortable. There are plenty of board games and the pool table and ping pong table were a hit. Beautiful place and hope to return some day.

Amazing place!

The space was perfect for a weekend getaway and so much fun. There’s plenty of activities to do in the house; the pool table and table tennis were especially fun. The surrounding environment is really picturesque and relaxing.

Excellent place

The Mad River Valley is one of the nicest places to be in the whole country, and you'd be hard-pressed to find a better place to stay in Waitsfield than right here. It's exactly as the listing says, and our stay couldn't have been any easier or more convenient. 10/10 would stay again.

Perfect mountain escape!

Loved staying at the carriage house and would highly recommend to anyone wanting a place to stay while hiking in VT. The pool table was a big hit and the kitchen was well stocked and very clean.

Perfect getaway to Mad River Valley

This was the second time we stayed at this cozy carriage house and again we were so pleased with everything. It is very clean, comfortable and has everything to make your stay absolutely perfect. It is also close to town which is very convenient. Jennifer is an excellent host! I can’t say enough positive things about this place!

Fun summer getaway to Mad River Valley

Had a great time with our teens and dog. Property has a great view of mountains and is a quick drive to town for groceries and restaurants. Also near swim holes and dog parks. Pool table was a bonus and lots of board games available too.
