Great spot for a family celebration

We had a great time staying at the Tower House. Exceptional views, plenty of seating for a big group. We wound up gathering in a different part of the property each night. Off-street parking, enough space for a party of 10, and responsive hosts.

Amazing stay at Beverly Hills

Doris was attentive, easy to communicate with, and super fast in responding to any requests we had. The house is quite spacious and there is plenty of room to relax and unwind. The amenities were great, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we would definitely recommend staying here!

Beverly Hills Stay

We had a great time, The views are incredible! Our only issue was batteries in the TV remote which we sorted out and the blinds in the master bedroom. Plenty of room and space for our family and friends!

Beautiful Home in the Hills

We rented for a family Christmas gathering and the stay was lovely. The number of bedrooms (5) was perfect for our group. The view (especially at night) was epic ... the fire pit made it even better. We didn't use the pool, but the spa was a wonderful way to warm up on the cold mornings. We would definitely come back. The host was easy to contact and very gracious.

A wonderful family Thanksgiving

This house is so beautiful and the view is outstanding. We had plenty of privacy and space for everyone. The dining room seated everyone together for Thanksgiving. There are lots of TVs and seating indoors and out for family time. It is quiet and secluded also. This house is as perfect as one can get!!

Perfect for the family

First of all it is spacious, clean, lots of room for the family to spread out. We were in town for our youngest son’s UCLA Graduation. And thought of it as a Special Occasion. Our Hosts Michael and Doris were attentive and gracious at all of our requests. (Not that we had many😄) We would definitely book it again if we need to bring the family together again in the LA area

We had a wonderful stay over the 4th of July weekend at Michael and Doris’s home in Beverly Hills. Wow! What a house! All the appliances worked well; the beds were very comfortable; the kitchen is a pleasure to cook in; and the furniture, art, decor, and main areas were all elegant and clean. The outdoor pool, hot tub, sauna, and the VIEW are to die for! Michael, Doris and their team were responsive and communicative before, during, and after our visit. The location is wonderful, private and quiet from neighbors, but still central to all that LA has to offer. I felt we got great value for our $$$, and had a chance to make some real memories with our group in their lovely home. 10/10 would recommend.

Disappointing experience

It's not a mansion but that wasn't the disappointing part. The disappointing parts were the poor maintenance, difficulty communicating with owners and the bedrooms.Maintenance was the biggest issue. Lights in the master bath only worked for two out of seven days; ice machine did not work; we could not set the oven because the lettering for the temperature, lower/upper oven and type of cooking were worn away; one oven door was difficult to open and then fell down because the hinges needed to be repaired or replaced.Owners only wanted to communicate through the vrbo app which was frustrating and time consuming.The master bedroom is great (if the bathroom lights are working) but the other bedroom are small and dark.The kitchen supplies were good in some categories but not others. For instance, there were no wine glasses but a lot of beer glasses. Drinking glasses were few and we ended up buying paper cups.So, a disappointing experience and we would not stay again.

We strive to resolve maintenance concerns right away to ensure a comfortable experience for all our guests. Regarding the light switches, the home does have multiple switches, but it's simply a matter of checking which ones operate each light — it’s straightforward and typically not an issue for most guests. The house is accurately represented in our listing, and we believe the true disappointment stemmed more from isolated maintenance issues rather than the home's overall quality. Communication is handled through the VRBO app for guest security and documentation purposes, which is standard practice for many hosts. We appreciate your notes and will continue to improve, but it's important to clarify that had we been made aware of these problems during your stay, they would have been promptly resolved.

Family Visit

Our LA family & east Coast family got together in one house for a few days. We liked the house for it's view and for the one floor layout - which was easier for a handicapped family member to get around. There are some steps so beware that it's not entirely "accessible". Downsides: - House was not cooled when we arrived and was ~84 F. - We always rent properties with hot tubs but this is the first one that has charged for heating the hot tub. It wasn't heated when we arrived bc I hadn't paid in advance. Then I learned that I had to message the owner, who apparently lives next door anytime that I wanted to turn the hot tub heat on. - The jets on the hot tub didn't work, but when I mentioned this, the owner declared that "the hot tub works just fine" - At one point the owner indicated that he didn't appreciate my tone when I was ini All in all, the place is a bit dated, although everything worked (except the ice maker door) and we a good time there. However, If I have access to a hot tub, I expect to be able to turn it on and use it when I want to and not deal with a third party every time one of us wants to use it.

There were roaches in the house not water bugs

The host responded quickly, the house had roaches, hadn’t been deep cleaned. Can tell people hadn’t stayed in a while. The wifi was out, the oven was out. The. View was amazing but that’s it. After a five day stay, they charged me for refrigerator shelves that were broken before we arrived and well as an oven know which wasn’t broken when we left. Left a very bad taste in my mouth. Would not rent again.

The home does not have roaches nor did it ever have a roach problem. I lived in this home for 18 years and never had roaches. The guest smoked marijuana in the house and broke some items, we have very strict rules about smoking in the home. The WiFi was out for a few hours because of an outage in the area. The oven had no issue they had too many items plugged in and popped the fuse.
