Cute lil A frame beachside paradise. The cabin was just enough! Perfect for reading, floating, crafting, chilling by the fire, and overall relaxing. We would wholeheartedly recommend this space, lake, and wonderful experience.
This cottage was perfect to house additional family since we have outgrown our Kelly Lake cottage. The kids loved the sandy beach, and the boat dock worked out well. We’ve already booked for next year!
We Love Kelly Lake! Cottage has everything you need for a very relaxing stay. We enjoyed the sandy beach. Lake is weedy at the end of the dock, but if you go out a little further it gets deeper and great for swimming.
The space and layout worked really well for our family. The kids loved the beach and being able to walk in the water and look for shells.

Vet cute cabin. We lived the fire pit and the passionate dock. Fishing from the dock was very cool. Caught bad, bluegills, and northern. The cabin did smell a bit musty.
The cabin was clean, functional, and conveniently located. It was easy to find all the supplies we needed in the cabin. There was a binder with nearby restaurants and grocery stores on the counter. The cabin is directly on the lake, and I wish I had brought coffee fixings, so I could have my coffee out there. It looked like there was a Keurig. We arrived after dark, and the property wasn’t automatically lit at night, so you might want to plan on arriving before sundown or leave your headlights on until you get into the cabin; the light switch is in the right guest bedroom. I wasn’t concerned about mobility, but there is a slight rise (some might say hill) going down to the cabin. There were large landscape stones to try and help you walk down. We had some rain, so we took it slow out of an abundance of caution. No one slipped. The WiFi was spotty, but Matt warned us about that possibility, and I feel like that’s the case around here anyway. Have a backup internet plan if you plan to WFH. Otherwise, enjoy being right on the water.

Beautiful Beach
My husband and I stayed here for an extended weekend with our two small kids and had a great time. We chose this place because of the pictures of the beach, which definitely lived up to expectation. Our kids had a great time playing in the sand all weekend! The kids books & beach toys that were there were really nice to have. It was also fun bringing some firewood to burn in the firepit on the beach.
Overall the cabin was clean, except for the small kid's bed that had sandy sheets and an overall musty smell throughout the cabin. The musty smell in the cabin came home on everything we brought with us. We had to put our suitcases outside after getting home for a whole week to air them out and wash some of our loads of laundry twice to get rid of the smell. There is a well stocked kitchen with everything we needed. Linens/towels are provided, but there are no beach towels. We did bring our own beach towels, so it worked out fine.
The cabin is listed as a studio with no bedrooms, but it does actually have 2 bedrooms. The photos show a ladder going up to a loft, but the loft is not included in the rental and the ladder was removed before our arrival. There was enough space inside for our family without the loft though.
Other nice features were the A/C, Wi-Fi (a little spotty/slow, but still fine), and kayaks.
The location of this property and the beach really make it worth renting.
