This cozy modern little lodge designed and built by Wisconsin Tiny Homes, is tucked into the woods 150 ft above a small woodland pond in the valley below. A bird lover's paradise. Comfortably and thoughtfully appointed, it's the perfect getaway to enjoy with a companion or as a solo retreat. Immerse yourself in nature and treat yourself with luxurious accommodations including complimentary beverage bar, and private hiking trails. Snow shoes available for use in the winter.

Stylish Cabin vibes with a tree house view!

The interior and exterior of this tiny home were cozy as well as stylish. The views of green and the pond below were stunning. Saw an outdoor fire pit that we didn’t have time to use, but looked like it’d be cozy. Had everything tidy and backup things that we forgot (ibuprofen). Super thoughtful host! Thank you

Perfect getaway

Our stay was perfect. We enjoyed how secluded and clean the place was. It had everything we needed and more. The bathroom is something to get used to but overall the stay and everything was perfect!

A delightful abode

What a lovely little home. My sister and I stayed here for a weekend away. We loved this little home, it was thoughtfully decorated, well labeled, easy to get to / get in / check out. We enjoyed hiking in the snow in the property and met a sweet pup. From here we drove just 5 minutes to the Omaha trail to have a lovely 5 mile hike. I was delighted by the coffee supply, and my sister by the mini-bar. Lovely linens, and kitchen supplies and immaculately clean. We're hoping to make this spot a regular stay for us.

Wonderful getaway

My wife and I loved this tiny house and the trails on the property! It's perfect for a weekend getaway. There's tons of natural beauty and animals and the home is very comfortable. The host lives nearby and is very quick to respond. Fantastic place I would recommend to anyone! :)

This cabin was a perfect fit! My husband was looking for a few days to disconnect from the world, so we got him this stay for Father’s Day. He absolutely LOVED IT and would highly recommend it to anyone. We will return next time for a couples trip.

Highly recommend staying here! We were greeted by the owners 2 very friendly dogs :) when we walked in we immediately fell in love with the cabin. Perfect place for a couple to relax. They truly thought of everything that you could want or need for your stay! Makes me want a tiny cabin for myself! :)

Amazingly Peaceful

We had high hopes going into our stay here and the experience blew us away. The home was clean, cozy and felt much larger than you would expect. Not a detail was missed with the decor and the mini bar was a pleasant surprise. While hiking one of the trails my wife and I couldn't help but notice how quiet and peaceful the property was. It was an amazing stay and we will definitely be back.

Overall, this place was very impressive. It was extraordinarily clean and well-maintained. My wife was most impressed by the attention to detail in every element of the unit, even down to the magnet, which covers the microwave light at night. Getting to the property was also very easy as it was well marked and very accessible. I’ve already recommended the place to my sister and her husband.

The Cutest Little Getaway Spot

We absolutely adored this property. The owner went above and beyond providing amenities and supplies. The tiny cabin has everything we could want/need plus so many cute, thoughtful extras. It’s clean, adorably furnished and the use of space didn’t make it feel cramped at all for two adults. The ease of check in/out was just more icing on the cake. This is the perfect spot for a weekend getaway for anyone who needs a quiet, calm space to work, create or just rest and relax. Highly recommend and hoping to visit again ourselves!

Anniversary Summer Getaway

This place was a lovely place to rest our heads. Very comfortable bed, great sleep was had! Lots to do in the area. Point Bluff Tubing Resort for fun on a tube, kayak, or canoe on the WI river. Bike rentals in Sparta, WI at Speeds Bicycle Shop. The trail was so fun! The compost toilet took some getting used to but all the other comfortable amenities made up for it.

Great Rural Getaway

Very very cute situation. Place was immaculately clean and incredibly thoughtfully set up. Very chic and modern but still cozy-seemed like everything was adjustable/dimmable/operable via a little remote. We got here at night and waking up to the snow covered woodland view was probably the highlight. Plenty to do in the area. Some driving is needed but many of the roads are scenic. Only stayed one night would like to come back for a longer stay sometime.

Amazing Little Getaway

I can't say enough good things about this adorable little house! I'm huge on cleanliness and this place was immaculate. Everything was labeled and organized and we had anything we could've possibly needed. The binder includes information for any of the surrounding towns, which would be incredibly helpful if you're not from this area. They've really thought of everything. The mini bar had everything you'd need to make any sort of cocktail and we got to have pour over coffee in the morning. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate for us to be able to utilize the hiking trails but hopefully we can come back again sometime!

Beautiful fall getaway

We really enjoyed staying in the Emerald Lodge at Wisconsin Tiny Homes. The little lodge was so cute, and Alyssa had everything so nicely appointed. Everything you needed was there, plus a lot of really nice extras: Fancy coffee supplies, toiletries in case you forgot things in the bathroom, chocolates next to the bed, etc. She clearly cares about the details. We also appreciated that she allowed us to check-in early. Our only complaint was that there were a few things not working: first, the TV, which she told us about, and we said was not a problem. Secondly, the electric fireplace turned on, but wouldn't heat. There were also a dozen or so ladybugs and a few flies buzzing around inside. It's probably just that time of year. We went on a hike around the property this morning and enjoyed the beautiful fall weather and the gorgeous hills, valleys, and bluffs. We recommend taking the opportunity to explore the trails while you're there!

Tiny Oasis

From the moment we walked into this tiny home we felt at home! Not only was the home beautifully constructed, but every detail of the design and layout was well thought out. All the small details not only made us feel special, but also pampered and relaxed. From the extensive and amazing complimentary beverage bar, to the diffuser, decor, and lighting, the views, down to a thorough binder with information about the home, this place exceeded our expectations. It was also incredibly clean. This tiny and tranquil oasis was the perfect little getaway for our anniversary.

Lovely spot

The owner has made this little cabin an oasis of comfort, with artful decor, extra comfy bed, modern amenities, excellent wifi, generous snacks, a fully supplied kitchen, and eco-friendly systems. The countryside in Elroy is beautifully picturesque, generating a peaceful glow as we drove up to the site. The only reason for less than five stars in this review is the odd juxtaposition of this "luxury" property and the active construction site where it is located, making the approach to the cabin from the road a bit less inviting. The dogs barking and charging up to us as we arrived also took us aback, but they turned out to be friendly, as described by the owner. All in all we had a lovely experience at this "tiny house".

Quiet getaway

This is a wonderful quiet getaway on a large piece of land that the owners have kindly makes with intertwining trails for a great experience. Highly recommend if you need to get away from the noise of the world.

2 miles from an access point of the Elroy-Sparta bike trail.
8 miles from Interstate 90/94.
Local coffee shops, winery and breweries within 20 minutes.
30 minutes from Wisconsin Dells.
1.5 hours from Madison.
2.5 hours from Milwaukee.
3 hours from the Twin Cities.
3.5 hours from Chicago.

The property on which the Little Lodge sits has a variety of other buildings, some are visible from Emerald.
Nearest is our woodcutting station (not in use when guests are staying).

There are two friendly dogs who live on the property. Also near, is Opal Little Lodge. It is located in the woods off to the side of Emerald. It is not visible in the summer.
