The apartment "colonial" was awarded by the DTV (German Tourism Association) with 5 stars. The apartment "colonial" has 1 bedroom with solid colonial furniture in warm colors, 50-inch TV, double patio door to the large private terrace, 1 bathroom with walk-in shower (150x90 cm), large sink, and solid colonial furniture, all in color ; 1 high quality new fitted kitchen with generous amenities incl. Dishwasher and beautiful dining group of massive colonial furniture.
The apartment "colonial" is about 67 square meters and suitable for 2 - 3 people (in the bedroom, a baby or guest bed can be built).

The apartment "mediterranen" was again awarded 4 stars by the DTV (German Tourism Association).
Meanwhile, however, the two bedrooms have been completely renovated and furnished. In addition, also in the hall and in the bathroom new furniture and a new LED lighting (cf. Pictures on the homepage).
The apartment "mediterran" is located on the first floor and is harmoniously harmonized with warm colors. Rounded off by matching decoration, a Mediterranean flair is created here. The apartment is equipped with 2 bedrooms (each with 2 double beds, newly renovated in 2017), 1 new living room (2017 completely redesigned) with generous real leather corner, 48-inch LED TV, double patio sliding door to your own balcony (9 sqm), 1 spacious bathroom / WC with shower, 1 kitchen with high quality equipment incl. Dishwasher and generous amenities. The apartment has a size of 86 sqm. It is suitable for 2 - 5 people (in the bedrooms a baby and a guest bed can be built).

Due to the upscale amenities in both apartments (z. B. Leather sofa, 48 or 50-inch TVs, DVD player, dishwasher, additional pad machine, Wi-Fi, washing machine in the basement, etc.) and its own sauna, also furnished in Mediterranean style, is a pleasant holiday in a stylish environment and cozy atmosphere nothing more in the way.
In both apartments we welcome you upon arrival with the following complimentary amenities:
1 bottle of welcome wine, dishwashing liquid and tables, spices (basic equipment), toilet paper, garbage bags, kitchen roll, tea towels, bed linen, hand and bath towels, hair dryer

All rooms of both apartments are equipped with high quality tiles and underfloor heating. The temperature can be adapted to personal needs for each room.

In our yard area there is a private parking space next to our garages for each apartment.

The extensive, park-like garden (1400 m2) is available to our guests. In addition to a beautiful mooring and plenty of seating throughout the garden, there is also a barbecue area and a fireplace (wood, lighters and charcoal are provided).

The wilderness garden is also a paradise for children:
Bolzplatz, knights castle, swing, slide and sandpit with many toys.

Our house is located directly at the national park Bayer. Forest (about 300 m to the enclosure zone), on the outskirts of Ludwigsthal in Zwiesel, 11 km to the Great Arber (Ski World Cup). Excellent transport links by train and bus. A paradise for hikers, cyclists and skiers! Storage for skis and ski boots, stroller etc.

Wilderness residence at the National Park:
Our goal is that you feel comfortable with us! The bike path from the Czech Republic (9 km from us to the border) after rain leads directly past our house. Only about 250 meters from our house, is a "real" grass football field, which can also be used. This course is located directly on the river Regen with beautiful natural swimming spots.

To eat and drink:
In our village (about 350 inhabitants) there are a total of 3 restaurants: One is in the house to the wilderness (about 15 minutes walk) and is only open during the day. A second inn is the Gasthaus Ludwigsthal (about 300m away). The other guest house is just opposite our house (about 30m, Gasthaus zum Wurzlsepp). In Schleicher (1km away) is a very good place for local delicacies (trout, pork knuckle, bread, etc.). There are also at Zwiesel (5km) at least 5 pizzerias, even more Bavarian pubs as well as a Greek and a Chinese.

Shops can be found in Zwiesel (5km):
There are all major discounters and supermarkets.

However, we can also offer you a free bread service (daily except on Sundays and public holidays).

What can you experience in Ludwigsthal?

A unique in Bavaria neo-Romanesque parish church with unique painting and LED lighting, Castle Ludwigsthal or the National Park Center Falkenstein with house to the wild and enclosure zone (lynx, wild horses, wolves, aurochs).

Hiking opportunities are available right on our doorstep.
