A lovely home that easily accommodated 9 adults. Very easy to cook in the kitchen and enjoy the natural surroundings. Very clean and well outfitted. Loved the trail walk, which is right down the street.

A group of middle-aged women in the Berkshires for a cycling weekend had a wonderful time staying at this home. Clean, well appointed, very comfortable, and beautiful view! The hosts were very accessible and responded very quickly to any questions.

The location was great for our activities, including local hiking and dining. The view was gorgeous and the house itself was beautiful and immaculate. For three couples, the amount of space was extensive, with lots of room to spread out. The furnishings were warm and very comfortable, including the beds! The kitchen and other amenities were well-appointed and very organized. Finally, the hosts are super responsive and thoughtful. We had a fantastic time!

A comfortable stay in the Berkshires. Felt very much at home or at a good friend's house from the moment we arrived. Clean and well appointed property for our party of six. Conveniently located concerning shopping, our daily museum excursions and evening dinners around the surrounding towns. Honorable mention extended to the Ping Pong and Foosball (Soccer) Tables that brought us quite a few laughs as did the Yahtzee board game. Our Hosts maintained a clear and open channel of communication for any and all needs. A premier property, host and stay. Unanimously agreed! Thank you from our group of old friends in newly found spaces.

Excellent Getaway in the Berkshires

This property easily fit all of my family of 11 for our girls’ weekend in the Berkshires! The house and view were beautiful, and our hosts were very communicative and thoughtful. The location is great and it was a quick drive to the downtown area as well as the nearby Harvest Festival. I would highly recommend this place for a comfortable, relaxing, and wonderful vacation!

Amazing ski vacation

Perfect weekend getaway!

This was every definition of a lakeview retreat! The house and property were beautiful and clean and had everything we needed to have a fantastic stay. There was plenty of sleeping space for each member of our group as well as a large common area for meals, playing games and hanging out. I would highly recommend this property to other large groups!

Beautiful house and property!

We rented this house to ski in the area with 2 families (4 adults and 6 children) and it was exactly what we were looking for! Very clean, had everything we needed, very easy to communicate with the owner and overall a great experience. We will definitely come back next time we ski the Berkshires!

We keep coming back!

This was our third year in a row staying at this house for our annual ski trip with 4 adults and 6 kids. It is always immaculate and has great common rooms for all of us. Kari and Glenn think of everything and Glenn even came to shovel the walkway and driveway for us during a snow storm (without even having to enter the house). We look forward to our time at this beautiful property every year!

Located between Hartford and Albany making fly-Ins easy. Hosts exceeded all expectations about communicating, clarifying parking options, room options. We would return without any concerns. As landlords ourselves we hope to model this hosts’ behavior.

Comfortable home in a great location

Beautiful Berkshire home

We are a group of 7 women all celebrating our big 70 birthdays. This home was ideal, spacious and spotless. The location was perfect since where we went to college was also nearby. We were also able to see lots of wonderful venues in Lenox. The trail across the street was perfect for our group. We would definitely recommend this home to any group or family. Beautiful and Relaxing Lakeview Retreat

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful Lakeview Retreat during our long weekend trip to the Berkshires. It was well-stocked with amenities and was very neat and clean, so everyone felt right at home the entire time. The location was beautiful and quiet – we loved waking up to the water every morning and looking out over the views while we had breakfast. It was very clear that our hosts had put a lot of care and attention into making sure that we felt comfortable as a guest in their home, which we all appreciated so much! We would definitely recommend this host and location to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation in the Berkshires.

Great Lakeview Spot for Groups with Kids

We loved our stay at the Lakeview Retreat. It has a beautiful location with views of Lake Laurel and great commons spaces for a big group (lovely outdoor deck, main living area with many seats for people to sit down and eat, fun and large loft space, and a fun room for kids in the garage). As long as adults are willing to be flexible on their sleeping arrangements (there is only one private room), which we were, this is the perfect choice for a group with kids. Kari was very responsive and made sure all of our needs were cared for. We would definitely come again!
