The host was super responsive. The house was exactly as promised. The kitchen is really well stocked, which made it great for meal prep and service. The grill off the deck is a plus. There is some noise from the nearby interstate when you are in the lower bedroom. The upper bedroom is more quiet. I would definitely stay there again, especially because of the great value.

This was a great place for my family to spend a long weekend enjoying several area museums. Instructions were clear and easy and most everything worked as expected. Kitchen was well supplied and we appreciated the tea and easy to find supplies. The mini split heating was a bit noisy but kept us comfy on a colder day.

Great stay in a small, cozy house. Very responsive host. Clean and usable kitchen. Not recommended for people that have trouble with stairs as stairs are fairly steep. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Great place to stay

The Hickory house is an excellent place to stay while in Dayton. It is conveniently located to many different areas including Dayton University, hospitals, and the Oregon district. The house was exceptionally clean, well-maintained and very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay, and would definitely book again.

Hickory house review

Owner was flexible and responsive. Appreciated the neighborhood and location. Beds were comfortable and cozy. Kitchen had all we needed. Grill and patio furniture in backyard. Had a great stay here.

Sister’s Celebration of life

Adorable, comfortable, clean house with excellent communication from the hosts. You should be able to navigate stairs easily if using the upstairs bedroom, as they are high and the only bathroom is downstairs. Very enjoyable stay during a difficult time. :)

Feels Like Home

This house is so well-designed, well-equipped, simple and yet elegant. Comfy beds. We were glad we picked this place, and will again if we are in Dayton, 2020 basketball champs.
