Nestled in an environment of meadows and forests, Buchenberg is situated at an elevation of approximately 1,000 meters above sea level. The location extends into the pre-alpine hills and moorland on the southwestern edge of the Kempten Iller basin, transitioning to the mountainous region of Adelegg.
