Wonderful place

We had a wonderful time in Proceno. Cicillia is one of the kindest people we have ever met and our stay was beyond what we expected. The pool area is so relaxing. The cooking class inspiring and delicious. We drove to Lake Bolsena which is stunning the water so good for swimming and renting a boat. It was quiet around the castle, a much slower pace of life so still adjusting to being back in busy London!

Beautiful!

We had a peaceful and relaxing stay in this castle apartment. The atmosphere was charming and the hosts were wonderful! It is clear that great pride has been taken into maintaining the authenticity of the lodgings and dining areas. Thank you Mrs Cecilia for your hospitality and for opening up your property for others to enjoy! It was a great pleasure to meet you. The location is only a short drive to other small villages for day trips, beaches, hiking and shopping.

The perfect jumping off point

We spent 5 days at the Castello exploring southern Tuscany from Siena, Arezzo, and Cortona to Sorano, Sovano, and Pitigliano. The apartment was comfortable and our hosts were gracious and very thoughtful. We ate fine dinners at the castle twice and had a fortifying breakfast each morning. Highly recommended.
