Beautiful condo with great views, the property is beautifully furnished with convenient access to a very nice pool and restaurant at the golf club house! Debbie the host was very responsive to any and all questions. Just a short drive to the beautiful JW Marriott resort with multiple restaurants.
The Villa was perfect for our 2 week stay. Located on the beautiful Marriott Starr Pass PGA golf course with amazing views of the mountains, sunrise/sunsets and wildlife provided for a peaceful and tranquil stay. The pool was within short walking distance where you can hang out and relax and meet other visitors. The villa is in excellent condition and having 2 separate bathrooms was definitely a plus. The villa is furnished with everything you need. Debbie, the host, is very friendly and very responsive to your needs. Would definitely recommend this location .
Pool was perfect. Patio view excellent and quiet road. We loved this place. Saw javelinas one night and heard white winged doves calling.. So accessible to Starr pass Trail just up the road. wonderful club pool golf bar and restaurant at Star Pass Club. Thank you!!!
Very nice. Clean. Two beautiful master bedroom units. Very well stocked with the essentials (soap, paper towels, linens, towels, etc). Patio is very well set up with nice views of the mountains and nice landscaping including bird feeders. Owner was very responsive.
We booked our unit for us to stay for graduation weekend and it was perfect. Plenty of room, great location and exactly what we were hoping for. Would definitely book it again.
We enjoyed our stay in this casita. The location is perfect - close to everything Tucson has to offer! The outdoor patio space was especially comfortable and welcoming!
We had a two night stay at casita 19 for our daughter’s college graduation. Starr Pass is a beautiful area and close to downtown Tucson. Debbie was great to work with and we enjoyed our stay.
The location was perfect for us. Lots of trails and things to do nearby. The property was fantastic. Very clean and well stocked! Deb was great to work with. Would definitely return!
The casita is beautifully decorated and has very comfortable furniture and beds. Loved watching the birds and wildlife passing by. The hike up to Starr Pass trailhead offers stunning views of Tucson. The neighborhood is quiet and felt very safe. I will definitely be back!

False advertisement guest are not allowed to use the pool …. This was the only reason why we chose to stay here for my wife’s Birthday ( 4th of July Weekend ) My Grandkids were bumbed that they couldn’t swim. So we were stuck there for two days without being able to use one of the most important ( popular amenities listed “ the POOL “

Regrettably Troon changed the rules last minute that guests had to be accompanied by the member and limited to 2 persons as the Hotel was fully booked. Obviously we members have complained. This is not the norm.
Great property, Great location near the Marriott, Great host
This property is in walking distance to the Marriott resort and has its own nice ammenities. The place was very nice and is setup perfectly with two units that have privacy. The host was very helpful to work through some web/login issues. Thank you!
Property was great for two couples. Kitchen was fully stocked. Close to attractions. Bike trail out the door. Pool, gym short walk. Quiet location. Host was responsive and kept in touch.
My grown daughters and I had a wonderful 2 weeks at Debbie’s home. A beautiful, quiet, scenic area of Tucson easily accessible to downtown - 10 minutes away. Lovely pool area an easy walk from the home and miles of hiking trails right out the door. We will be back! Thanks, Debbie

I appreciated your telling me the freezer in the bar fridge needed to be defrosted and some light bulbs in the living room needed to be replaced. ALL DONE!
Property is in a great location, quiet and well equipped. The layout worked well for us with two separate bedrooms each with own bathroom. Overall very clean with extra towels etc. A few things need renewing or maintenance eg some kitchen equipment and the back door screen. The house was nice and warm but the heating fans are very noisy particularly at night!
This was a really nice property for a work event. I could take my family also. The only setback was the pool was under construction thankfully the Marriott allowed us to use their pool, since the convention happened to be there. We also have a property using the same software and have to randomly check in to make sure that there’s no upside down bugs, which was the only setback for this Casita. Otherwise the lay was perfect for privacy and quiet.
We stayed for 7 nights while moving our daughter into the U of A. The condo accommodated our family of four nicely and was just a short drive to the U of A. We loved the view of the golf course and took advantage of the facilities to play golf twice. The courses were a lot of fun! Anyone staying here should know that this area is outside of town, which is part of what we loved. Everything in the condo worked well and while some things could be fixed (back screen door) or updated (towels), everything we needed was available to us. Communication with Deb was pleasant, quick and efficient. Thank you!
Debbie’s place is impeccable - brand new counters and leather furniture, a pillow top bed. And wood burning fire place. The absolute best part is the location and the wildlife. Our friends stayed at the JW Marriott and were so jealous of our casita. We saw a javelina walk past the patio one morning, woke to the sounds of a coyote this morning, and roadrunners galore on the sidewalks, backyard etc. we even saw shooting stars one night. The birds are gorgeous and the hummingbirds come to her feeder and flowers. It is walking distance from the pool and sports bar/restaurant, walking path, with access to more strenuous hikes. She has coffee available and the laundry machine does a terrific job. Our friends stayed a couple nights in the spare bedroom which has its own little kitchen and full bath. Neighbors are very friendly. One of the best place to stay with all the comfort of home. Debbie was responsive to everything. A great host!

Old and tired
The unit was actually 2 joined by common doors inside.
It was dated and poorly lit. It was clean, barely. The inside doors were dirty and a cabinet door in the larger bath was falling off. There were opened food bags in the freezer. This unit was okay because we were hardly there. The directions were terrible. It was hard to find the unit. The parking space for the unit was not marked. The space indicated by the manager directed us to a space clearly marked up to unit 18. There was nothing marked for 19. We guessed.
Anyone with mobility issues might find the access from parking to the unit a difficult slope. The directions said to open the front door with the key from the lock box on left. There were 2 identical front doors (formerly 2 units) the keys worked on the right side door not the one next to the lock box. Things like that add up. It was average.

These villas were all built with a lockout door for the second bedroom such that you can rent it out like a hotel room. It has a separate entrance. You can either rent out both sides or the entire home. The directions were precise but not read properly. All units are marked the same way. No parking stalls are numbered which is why the instructions said to park in one of the first few stalls on the left. The directions were to access the keys from the lockbox on the gate on the left for the door on the right. The cleaning lady did find a cupboard drawer in the bathroom slightly ajar and a screw on the floor. She promptly screwed it back in. Most guests give this home a 5 star rating and often return for another pleasurable stay.

This property was not fun to stay in. We picked up a glass when we first arrived and there was lipstick on it! That prompted us to start looking at the cleanliness of everything, as we always do, but especially during this time of Covid. We spent the next two hours cleaning surfaces, bathrooms and kitchen, then the rest of our 7 night stay not liking the poor condition of the beds and linens (pillows were horrible), the screen door out to the patio, dirty patio furniture cushions and the clutter of all the "stuff" that was obviously brought from the owner's home and deposited there. We didn't want to hang our clothes in the cluttered closets. We even cleaned the washer and dryer around the doors and wherever we could so we could feel like our laundry had a chance to be clean the one time we used the washer and dryer, The broom handle was even so grimy feeling, I had to clean it to be able to use it. We had stayed at two other of the casitas before--one owned by the hotel (this casita was not good) and another owned by a private VRBO owner (tried to stay at this property but was not available at this time, we loved this one). We expected Covid cleanliness and this property was not even close to rental property normal clean. We weren't comfortable here.

All COVID-19 protocols are followed and the cleaning lady is festidious. Everyone has stressed how clean this home is and great pride of ownership. I appreciate learning about anything needing attention and it is remedied immediately. The only thing in a closet is extra linen and pillows. This renter even complains that the JW Marriott is not clean. Based on other similar reviews by this person I venture to say they would not be enjoying a holiday anywhere.

Why they chose this property
I have owned at Starr Pass since 1993. I love the city, the atmosphere, the people in the community and the golf course is truly awesome!
What makes this property unique
I love to watch the red cardinal that visits our backyard and the numerous quail, deer and javelina as well. The view of the city lights from our patio is unique and spectacular. It is close proximity to the Clubhouse and pool and backs directly onto the golf course.
