My wife and I stayed here with our two teenagers. What a great place. Highly recommended - will definitely try to stay here again. HIghlights are the hot tub, the fire pit, deck, kayaks, lakefront set-up, comfortable beds and well thought-out amenities. Quiet location and still close to good local restaurants and amenities. This us our 2 nd year staying at the A Frame. It is a beautiful location very peaceful and very quiet. We enjoyed every day we went swimming and boating. The dogs went swimming. We hope to return next year. Thank you so much Austin for being such a wonderful host.

Amazing A Frame

Home was perfect for our stay, perfectly situated on the lake. Our family loved staying here - the dock for the kids to fish or swim off of, deck overlooking the lake, boat rental (to explore, tube, wakeboard), hot tub, fire pit, and a place for our dog - was fun and relaxing for us all. It was a great find!The owner was very communicative and helpful, which we appreciated. Highly recommend.

Great location and very private. The home had all necessities and was very clean. Despite the off and on rainy weather, we really enjoyed our stay playing games, reading and watching movies. The grocery store and restaurants were very close which made the meals super easy to plan. Thank you!!

Perfect lakehouse

This house was amazing ! Went with my wife and 2 teens . There was plenty of room for us ! Beds were comfortable. House was equipped with everything we needed . Really enjoyed renting the host boat . Beautiful hot tub. House comes with pedal boat, kayaks , tubes.

Emily and I are in our late 20's, recently engagaed and locals to the Charlotte/Lake Norman area. We purchased this property as our first home. We are excited to share the place we have made so many memories with others to make their own. Our love for this home is shared with our golden retriever, Chai.

We are avid travelers and have hosted other properties in New York City where we used to live and work. We understand the needs of guests from our own experience and extensive research. We're confident we will provide you with the best experience possible.

Why they chose this property

We developed this space to provide a true and effortless Lake Norman experience. This home is great for a staycation, vacation, a work-from-home alternative or for families. Located 45 minutes from downtown Charlotte (& airport), you can enjoy the water by day and city by night.

THE HOME: This recently refurbished A-Frame has an abundance of charm and character. Open layout, big windows, large deck and designer touches are just a few things that make this home stick out.

OUTDOORS: The property features 100 feet of private waterfront, most of which is made up of sandy beach. Enjoy the water by relaxing on the overwater lounge, using the provided (2) paddle boards and (2) kayaks or 18 foot lake mat. The porch features a 6-person hot tub, grill, bountiful seating and is equipped lighting and large umbrellas to make sure you are good to go, rain or shine, day or night. We also recently added a custom fire pit perfect for s'mores and sunsets - firewood included!

MAIN SPACE: The main space in the home, which includes kitchen, living and dining rooms, is ready for your enjoyment. The kitchen is fully stocked and includes amenities like a double oven, coffee bar (coffee provided) and wet bar. The living room is perfect for movie night, made better by large flat screen Smart TV with ChromeCast, Sonos sound and water views. Lastly, the dining space is the best way to take it all in with 270 degrees of windows and gorgeous water views. New in fall of '22 is a custom Breeo fire pit with Adirondack chairs.

BEDROOMS: The bedrooms in the home are just what you need for your getaway. Some light design touches accompany more practical features like bedside outlets with USB ports. One bedroom features a large monitor and desk that are perfect for remote work - powered by our 500mbps internet & WIFI.
