Our waterfront retreat with kayak, firepit, and grill was amazingly RELAXING! It was exactly what we needed for a nice slow down and disconnect. Everything was exactly as pictured and described. Beds were very comfortable and the showers were excellent! Kitchen was fully stocked. No washer/dryer or AC downstairs but we did fine without it and it was mid July. No TV downstairs but was SO HAPPY to NOT have TV and spend time talking. Floated everyday on the water. Our hosts Joe and Karen were the best !!!! Super nice and live next door but don't let that intimidate you they are wonderful good people. Steps down to the water are steep so be careful. LOVE this little Oasis. Very rejuvating and refreshing
We truly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back one day. The deck was a great place to chat and chill!

Girls weekend trip
Place was cozy, beds were comfortable. Pond was amazing, very quiet Downside, can't check on til 5pm, lame, place had allot of spider webs, in the house. Neighbors are the owners, that was weird, nice people...
We had a very nice stay: comfortable house, nice areas to sit outside, delightful water for swimming, etc. The owners thought of everything. Terrific location.
We had a great time on Shaw’s Pond! House was perfect for us and our 3 grown kids! Awesome fishing!

It was a pleasure hosting Aimee! They were fantastic guests—friendly, respectful, and left the place in great shape. Highly recommend them and would be happy to host them again!
The cottage was very nicely laid out. Kitchen was a good size and the dining area with a view of the lake was perfect for the 6 of us. If we are up there again, I would definitely stay here again!
Truly a lovely property, kayak was a bonus, my teenagers loved fishing. Highly recommend for a quiet getaway in the woods. Everything you could possibly need.

Who has a 5pm check in, with a 70 fee to come any earlier!? And then a 10am checkout time the next day? Seems criminal. Other than having the landlords live next door, and a dismal checkin/checkout times, the property itself is fantastic, a true 10/10. The house has a perfect layout for guests to have their own spaces to play inside (on rainy days) and outside. The pond was great and we appreciated having a canoe and kayak to use!!
We had a wonderful time at this house on the lake. We had coffee and cocktails on the dock and watch the beautiful sunsets and sunrise.Did some fishing ! Owners have a house next door and they are very nice . Ate dinner on the back patio. House was clean and well supplied. Could have used another AC unit on first floor ....and a TV on the first floor ...and cleaning supplies. Other than that ....very nice !

Cottage good but charged xtra deceptive fees
Bathroom was dirty also the grill wasn’t really clean. The charge a fee for cleaning. My husband had to clean the grill. Before we left, my husband cleaned the grill again, cleaner than what we got. They charged my credit card $35 extra because they said it was dirty. They probably do that to every renter. Take pictures before and after.

Cute - but disappointing
Cute house, nice location – but with issues (be sure and read #4).
1. Before arriving we confirmed that the house came with a kayak and life vests. Despite assurances, no such kayak existed. Despite repeated inquiries we have never been informed whether it was stolen, misplaced or just a blatant misrepresentation.
2. If we opened one upstairs window the top pane of glass fell down and would not go back up.
3. The house lacked adequate towels, and minor things such as a table or shower caddy in the downstairs bathroom for shampoo, etc.
4. The first afternoon, we took a shower in the upstairs bathroom and it flooded the downstairs bathroom – water coming through the ceiling and light fixture. There was an inch of water on the floor. Fortunately they sent a plumber 4 hours later to fix the problem, but we were without both bathrooms for half a day while trying to get ready for a pre-wedding dinner. And Stay NH was surprised that we also wanted them to send a cleaning company to mop and clean the downstairs bathroom and replace the sopping wet rugs, because we didn’t want to do it on our vacation. (This is going to need a more permanent solution or the house will have mold, etc.)
After numerous inquiries they refunded us a whopping $100 for our difficulties, and took 3 weeks to pay it.
Unfortunately, we can’t recommend this house.
Very clean and lovely patio, plenty of room for 6. No soap in the shower/bathroom and one towel per person knocked them down a star for me. Also be alert - I didn’t notice there was no washer and dryer in the listing.
