Do you like starry nights, birdwatching, and peace and quiet? Come stay at the Floating Rock Cabin, a 550 square foot cabin with all the amenities you need to enjoy your time away. The cabin comes equipped with a full kitchen, a washer/dryer, wifi and Netflix. The cabin is located on 5 acres of wild Texas Hill Country land so you will have all the privacy you need. The best part is the Llano River access only a 3 minute drive from the cabin. Come explore the Llano River and the friendly town of Llano. We are a 35 minute drive to Enchanted Rock, 45 minutes to Colorado Bend State Park, and 40 minutes to Longhorn Cavern State Park.

Quite get away

Floating Rock Cabin was great for a quite weekend get away. The property was clean and well stocked. Easy to find but also easy to hide once there. My wife and I stayed here for an anniversary get away. Highly recommend for a Hill Country retreat.

Hi, we are a family of 4 who wanted to get some much needed space during the pandemic and we found just what we needed in Llano, TX.

Why they chose this property

We settled on this 5 acre lot because of the location to the Llano River. The short 3 minute drives to the clear green waters had us sold!

What makes this property unique

The land is mostly kept wild to allow for the natural habitat to act as barriers giving you the feeling of privacy.
During our excavation we found a rock formation that is so unique as it gives the illusion of one rock floating on another, hence the name The Floating Rock Cabin.
