About this property

Black Spruce - Orange Door

Yukon Black Spruce is one of Whitehorse's newest and most unique accommodations. Only six minutes from the international airport, Black Spruce features four self-contained architectural cabins. Inspired by landscape hotels in Europe, the cabins are perched on rocky boulders, and set delicately in the Boreal forest. Guests access the cabins from a central cedar boardwalk. Large 10 foot by 10 foot south facing windows immerse visitors in the natural beauty. A wood heated sauna is available.

The space
Set at the back corner of a light commercial subdivision, Black Spruce is bordered by an undeveloped city park, which includes a pond rich with aquatic life, rocky cliffs and one of Whitehorse's favorite rock climbing areas. The cabins feature a full kitchen, compact bathroom with shower, loveseat, and queen size bed. Amenities include board games, reading materials, coffee/tea, indigenous art, high speed internet, organic linens and towels, and for those that play musical instruments, a piano in the red door unit. Please not that the cabins do not have televisions.
