• The entire exterior of the property is treated with scheduled pest management. With that being said, the property is in the woods of a large nature reserve, so an occasional bug sighting comes with the territory.

• Location is important in the mountains! The major cell phone carriers have no issue with phone signal.

• Located in a gated community (Coosawattee River Resort) with 24/7 security so safety is of no concern.

• There are many entrances to our resort community, but ours is located near the closest entrance for easy access to all the activities, orchards, vineyards, hiking trails, shopping, and local restaurants

• All roads leading to us are paved roads and well maintained so no narrow gravel paths , any car can get you here. The driveway is a bit steep but any car can do it no problem! We are also only a few minutes from all the best restaurants and shops in the area!

Neighborhood:

The Property is in Coosawattee River Resort which is a 5,500 acre, gated community and nature preserve in the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains in Ellijay, GA. Ellijay is the Apple and Mountain bike capital of Georgia with endless activities to enjoy! We are also located near many national forest preserves as well! Many deer call this neighborhood home and I can almost guarantee you will see them in their natural habitat each day!

It also offers many amenities for free! Your Stay includes access to all 5 parks, access to the River tubing (tube not included) and rope swing, Picnic Area with Charcoal BBQ Grills, fishing pond (No license required),

There are also a number of paid amenities but your stay with us includes free passes for your entire stay! Amenities include an Indoor (heated pool)/outdoor pools, mini golf (Putt putt), pickle-ball, basketball and tennis courts, workout room (weights, exercise bike, elliptical, treadmill), and arcade with pool table, ping pong, air hockey and arcade games. I would recommend a day at the pool followed by a round of mini golf in the early evening! Please leave passes when you check out otherwise there is a $100 replacement fee.

Dog Friendly:

There is a fenced in doggy park area (Large and Small dog separation) in the community next to the Riverside Pool. We are a dog friendly property so furry friend is welcomed! Fenced in backyard. One dog 50 pounds or less allowed but no cats allowed due to allergies. There is a $75 pet fee per stay. Dog must be on the 1st floor at all times; keep doggy off all furniture, beds and rugs; bring a doggy bed, crate, bowls, & toys; dog must be crated when left alone. Please clean up after your dog inside & outside to respect the property for future guests.

Guest access:

All spaces in and outside the property can be used by guests except the owner's closets that are locked and labeled private.

By submitting your reservation you are confirming that you are 25 years or older and that all guests are either 25 years or older, or any who are under 25 are with their parent(s) or legal guardian(s). Proof of ID can be requested by host at anytime.
