Location, location, location! Easy access to everything! Older home well renovated with all new appliances in the kitchen and laundry room. Small appliances also made life easy for tea, coffee and toast. The beds were quite comfy and the shower head, turned in just the right position, gave a wonderful massage! Large fenced in backyard will be great when we return with our dogs. Concrete patio with outdoor furniture is just right for warmer days. We will return.

Perfect for Staying with Pets

Cozy Neighborhood

The house is in a quiet neighborhood. The backyard is large, and the kitchen is nicely decorated and stocked with mostly everything you’ll need to cook, complete with spacious countertops. The tub could use some talc, though.

Great Overnight stay

This was the perfect overnight stay on our way home to Tennessee. The description is accurate as are the pics. No frills but comfortable and clean. Very nice backyard for our dogs. Thank you!

Quiet neighborhood

The property is in an older, but quiet neighborhood. Large backyard for dogs. Beds were comfortable. Stayed 2 weeks with my dogs. Owner easy to communicate with and very accommodating.

Best Dog Backyard Ever!

We stayed just one night in Shreveport. This property is very nice and ideal for those traveling with a dog; the backyard is huge and fenced. The host is extremely communicative and responsive. Highly recommend.

It was great except for a few things could have been better. I recommend you get a larger trash can and a newer clean mop. The rest was great thanks we will use you again.

Perfect size and location

Perfect size for the two of us and our two dogs! Huge backyard and quiet neighborhood. I wish the place was cleaner, bring house shoes! Our feet were black walking around the house. And beware the couch….

Pet friendly 5*, Dirty areas and items. Disgusting coffee maker. Knives is kitchen dirty with some kind of white substance. Dead bug in bowl in cupboard, Mold in shower, Gaps in flooring, not properly installed. Driveway was is dangerous to navigate. Sloppy paint jobs even paint on curtain in bedroom. The over all stay was disappointing. All but the drive way could be easily remedied. I see the effort it just isn't 100 or even 90%. I wish I could recommend but sadly I can not.

The stay at Under the Oak was decent. The house was clean but had a very musty/old smell. We had to go buy some candles and keep lit while we were there. Due to the age of the house, I know it's standard for the shower head to be at a lower height so if you are taller than that, be prepared to lean over to wash your hair. My husband is 6'2" and it was a struggle. The beds are hard as a rock. If you have had any kind of back surgery or back problems, this is not the place to stay. My Husband has had back surgery and we will have to visit his doctor or Chiropractor this week. We went to play pictionary, which was provided in the home, but the accessories did not work so we did not get play that. One more thing, the furniture in the living room is a futon and a chair. If you are planning to stay there most of time, it is not very comfortable relaxing atmosphere. An upgrade to the furniture is definitely a must. The Owner was great and very responsive to messages.Unfortunately, we will not be staying here again.
