We enjoyed our stay and plan to return. The location of the house made everything we wanted to do easy and accessible. We had a family group of 13 and everyone enjoyed the house as well as the pool. Thanks for having him come check the pool daily, there were debris from the storms that came through.

Enjoyed our stay. However, the house was already damaged upon arrival. Pictures were sent to the host. The dryer’s heating element seems to be going out. The house is definitely spacious and great for a larger group. We enjoyed having the pool. Had to move the trash cans farther away from the pool because they absolutely reeked and attracted a lot of flies.

The property was functional. Overall property was a bit worn. AC worked well except for one bedroom that was 5-6 degrees warmer than the rest of the house. Hot water was not consistent in the property. Some showers did get hot. 2 of the showers never got completely hot only warm. We were in town for a wedding, not the beach. Non of the bedrooms had anyplace to hang clothes except on the showers. Only one TV in entire house. The hot water issue and the AC issue was mentioned during the stay, positives, the kitchen was good and my grandkids loved the play room. Overall pictures of property did not align with actual property. The house did meet our needs, but felt it was not worth the price.

We recently stayed at this home for a family trip to Galveston and had a wonderful time together. The biggest positive is the size of the home. It is very spacious and was perfect for our large group, with plenty of bedrooms and common areas for everyone to gather comfortably.Unfortunately, the property was not in the condition we expected based on the listing. There were numerous maintenance and upkeep issues involving plumbing, cooling, the pool area, furnishings, and general wear and tear. While these issues did not ruin our vacation, they did affect the overall quality of our stay.I do want to give Beach Box and the owners credit for their responses. We shared our concerns with them, and they were kind, apologetic, and responsive. They also provided a partial refund, which we appreciated.This home has great potential and is especially well suited for large families or groups. We would simply recommend that future guests ask whether the maintenance issues have been addressed before booking. With some needed attention and repairs, this is a wonderful Galveston rental.
