Perfect size for 2 guests, this direct waterfront rental is located on the Medway River at Sunbury GA and only 35 min from historic downtown Savannah. This newly built rental (new construction 2022) is an above garage apartment with a full equipped kitchen, king sized bed, full bathroom, flat screen TV and washer/dryer. Sit out on the porch to enjoy the 180 degree views of the riverfront with a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine or cocktail in the evening. Walk to the Sunbury Crab Company Restaurant only 0.2 miles away for some great seafood and atmosphere. Bringing a boat? You can rent a dock space from the Sunbury Crab Company Marina (cost based on length of boat). Centrally located on the GA coast, head north about 70 mins to Tybee Island or head south about 70 min to the beaches of St Simons Island and Jekyll Island.

Special considerations:

- Guests have to go up a flight of stairs for this rental over the garage
- Guests do not have dock access with the rental, but you can lease dock space for your boat from the Sunbury Crab Co Marina only 0.2 miles away

This is a beautifully kept property overlooking the river with a perfect view of the marshes. You can watch the sunrise each morning and watch the long shadows fall over the marshes each evening.

Phenomenal Place

We loved staying at River Vista! Beautifully decorated accommodations, gorgeous view and super helpful hosts. Another bonus was how close the Sunbury Crab restaurant is as well as the Smokin Pig. Also, the ease of getting to Savannah (about 40 mins) was another perk as well. I highly recommend this place!

Cannot say enough about this quaint, cozy loft! And just close enough to Savanna and the sea. The Serenity, the beach like feel was everything. A little further from downtown than i would’ve liked more like 45 mins than 30 and far from food places as well . But doesn’t take away from the experience would definitely stay again if in the area.

Beautiful, clean, quiet, quaint little place that was perfect for our anniversary trip. The owners were the sweetest! My husband and I had been looking for certain tickets and the owner ended up helping us find them. We also had reservations at the Sunbury crab co and it was nothing short of amazing. The perfect place for two!!

We absolutely love this place. The house was so clean and that may be the most comfortable bed we’ve ever slept in. I think my wife ordered everything but the bed frame before we left and now we have the same bed at home. Lol. We have a one year old granddaughter close by so we will be in the area a lot and this is our new home away from home.

This property was on the Georgia marshes, serene with beautiful views and nature sounds. Perfect for a couples or singles getaway. The space was calming, cute, and well thought out. Clean and the basics were provided. Rental information and local hints were clear and helpful. We enjoyed the Sunbury Crab Co…was so good that we went back the next night- reservations required. 30 min drive to Savannah and outlet mall. Recommend a cooler is brought if you plan on bringing a larger grocery order as the fridge is not full size. Highly recommend!

Beautiful, Calm and Quiet

As soon as we walked in we felt the calm beauty of the property. The subtle sea washed decor only reinforced the feeling of peace. We booked this property as it was one of the only opportunities available near Savannah over the Saint Patrick's Day weekend. We are so happy we picked your stunning apartment! After a busy, noisy day in the heart of the City (about 30 minutes drive) we were blown away by the vista over the low country waterway. Everything we needed for a perfectly calm stop before our Disney adventure with the family was provided by our hosts Jennifer and Lorin. Southern low country charm at its finest. We already planning an another Savannah adventure - hope there will be room at the inn for us to return!

A Nearby Gem

Beautiful Unit! Nearby 'Gem' - because we live in Savannah, GA and so this was less than an hour drive time. Met one of the owners upon arrival (storming when we drove in) - VERY nice gent! LOVED the personalized Welcome Note (nice touch). REALLY HOT during our stay, but early morning and after a late afternoon storm, we were able to enjoy the balcony a few times (waterway / marsh side views - lovely and calming). Bed is wonderfully comfy and made for very nice sleeping. *MUST Visit the nearby Sunbury Crab Company Restaurant (faves: Garlic Shrimp, Grouper, & the Gourmet Banana Pudding Ice Cream Cookie - YUM!!!). Thanks again, we will recommend and for certain.... We will be back!
