About this property
Cabin: Lower Winter prices! Snowbirds Welcome! Bring your boat for fall fishing
Located feet away from the Intracoastal Waterway. Bring your boat; you have free access to our private ramp with "no" wait time. Don't have a boat? Fish off our fishing pier and clean your fish at the end of the dock or sit and relax and watch the yachts and dolphins going by daily. We are a pet-friendly Vacation Rental, and there is a pet fee. There is a Queen-sized bed in the primary bedroom and bunk beds in the private area; the kids may want to bring their sleeping bags and sleep in the loft, even if they are 20+. There is a full bath, kitchen, and the living room. Rustic on the outside, beachy on the inside. The 10ft deep shaded porch is a great place to gather in the afternoon and evening. We offer self-check-in. But please stop by the office to sign in and pick up literature to make your stay more enjoyable. We will be more than happy to assist you. Janet is a local and is our concierge and can help guide you to the locations you are interested in and restaurant choices.
We are just 10 minutes away from Historic Beaufort. Fabulous unique shopping and restaurants, boating trips to Shackleford, and book an eco-tour of the Rachel Carson Estuary, Mariners Museum, Beaufort Historical grounds, and art museum. Scenic bus tours of Beaufort or boat tours to see dolphins. You can even take a sunset cruise on the Lookout sailboat. If you love the water, you will not be disappointed in the activities available. Here are just a few of the things you can do while visiting with us: swim, sail, boat, charter a tour, a cruise, snorkel, surfing at Atlantic Beach, paddle-board, kayak, jet ski, deep-sea fishing, secure a Pirate ship, treasure hunt, take a sunset cruise on the Lookout sailboat, pick up seashells, visit an aquarium, museums, libraries, take a trip to Shackleford Banks, see the wild Spanish Mustangs, explore great dive sites, dig for clams, gig a flounder, look for dolphins, go para-sailing, take a ferry over to Ocracoke, visit the 9-mile long island of Shackleford Banks, go Megaladon tooth diving, dive the many shipwrecks, buy a new surfboard, visit Cape Lookout National Seashore, and Shark Island.
Not much for water sports? That's okay you take a tour of Historic Beaufort on a real English Double-Decker bus, dancing, golfing, shopping, eating, play volley ball on the beach, enjoy a murder mystery dinner theater, walk the many fishing piers, fly a kite on the beach, have a picnic, walk the Beaufort's and Morehead's boardwalks, droll over yachts and sailboats docked at the marinas, experience wonderful photo opportunities, visit Beaufort's old graveyards, tours historic homes, take a pirate's tour of downtown, rent bikes, site seeing, listen to local musicians, visit Fort Macon, visit the Core Sound Waterfowl and Heritage center, visit Beaufort's Historic Grounds, watch local artists paint, relax at a tiki bar, set on the outside decks of local restaurants and have a wonderful meal and meet the locals, take your dog for a walk, or if all else fails, we recommend you just take time to relax and spend time with those you love in our friendly little town.
