Welcome to “Lakeview Haven” at Silver Lake! This peaceful getaway comes equipped with a sun room for enjoying morning coffee with views of the turquoise lake. Just a short 10 min drive to Michigan International Speedway. Several golf courses and parks within minutes drive. The backyard is perfect for barbecues, yard games, campfires, and it’s just a short 3-minute walk to the private boat launch. It’s the ideal lake getaway for a summer to remember!

Great stay!

Great little place. Pretty lake community and owners were very kind and accommodating! Super touched by the snacks left at check in which were super appreciated by our 2 boys since our flight was delayed and we arrived after midnight! Place was clean and had everything we needed!

If i had any suggestions it would be to put a small dresser in yhe front bedroom with a mirror. Everything else was wonderful.

Relaxing stay

This clean, up to date, two bedroom home is perfect for a casual time. It is tucked away on a quiet lake outside of Brooklyn but not a bad drive. No issues with the house except not knowing how to work the air conditioning. The owner was easy to get on the phone and helpful. Would stay there again

Beautiful Location and Clean Environment

My friend and I came to stay at this VRBO for an event in the area and throughly enjoyed our time here. The view of the lake while relaxing on the front porch was nice. Having two beds with two full baths gave us each privacy we needed as well as the ability to get ready for the day at the same time. I can tell the owners care for this home. We hope to return for another stay in the future.

A quiet weekend away.

A friend and i went to faster horses but wanted a place away from the venue to come back to. The place was clean and quiet so it worked for what we needed, but i didn't expect the 2 miles of dirt road to get to it. We enjoyed the lake view but were disappointed in the lack of actual water access that was mentioned in the listing. It ended up being a dirt path for homeowners to drop boats in the water and no spot to sit and enjoy the water if you don't own a boat. The only real issue i had was communication with the homeowner prior to our stay. I messaged him a couple times with no response, finally called VRBO to get his phone number and still had issues getting a response via text, then finally called him in order to get a simple question answered regarding our stay. I would think this would be an area the homeowner would focus on since the property is newer to him.

Beautiful and Private

David "Rusty" was awesome. He was quick to reapond to all of my questions. This was my first time renting a property, so I had no idea what to expect. I even brought my own cooking knife, being worried about the utensils provided. The Cutlery was even awesome! Rusty even provided 2 kayaks when he found out I was bringing kids. It was my daughter's Sweet 16 getaway and Rusty surprised us with Free Putt Putt from the local venue to add to your visit. The lake was great, we went during the week and it was not busy so the girls could swim with no worries. I didn't realize there was a swimming area until I was offered a ride from a local on his pontoon and saw it on our last evening. The house was ship shape. I was only worried about the light colored furniture and all white towels. Water, sand, and fishing do not go well with the whites 🤣 All was well, no mishaps. The gas grill hook-up was wonderful. I was able to use the grill often and made clean up easier. The lot is on the corner of the entrance to the Private lake, not much comings and goings so it was very peaceful. There were board games available which made it easier to keep kids active without electronics. The fire pit was a favorite of the girls. The deer that were in the back yard of a morning were also delightful. The bathrooms were exceptional. Rusty has installed and provided Shampoo, Conditioner, & Soap dispenser. Definite plus. We will definitely be using this location again. Thank you for such a delightful experience Rusty !!!

Really enjoyed our stay

We had a great time staying at this property. Very clean, beautiful lake views and all the amenities needed. The owner was extremely responsive and made sure we were well taken care of. We would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing g vacation. Our family and friends will certainly stay here again.
