At Tarhoo, you'll be able to easily enjoy the best that Frisco has to offer. A short drive south will bring you to attractions like the Frisco Native American Museum, Quarterdeck Restaurant, Frisco Sandwich Shop, and more. Plus, the beach is just a 10-minute drive away from the beach access at Ramp 49. Tarhoo is located on the soundfront of Hatteras Island, giving you the best seats ever for stunning OBX sunsets! There's plenty of fun to have right at your vacation rental with access to your own private, heated pool, as well.

Inside Tarhoo, you'll find an open living area with stunning sound views and ample seating. With a game and book library, it's the perfect place to gather with friends and family. On this level, you'll have access to the furnished sun deck and the furnished screened porch where you can enjoy the beautiful changing colors of the sky at sunrise, and those famous, firey OBX sunsets. Nice house but a roach infestation

I typically always leave good reviews everywhere I go but this time I feel like whoever in charge needs to see this issue the first morning I awoke to my granddaughter screaming about a very large roach in her bathroom and every morning there was at least one or two in the bedrooms bathrooms on all levels of the house and the 4-6pm checkin really stretched out the first day and then to have a normal checkout of 10 am and a 6am on rentals really shortened the trip when you stretch out checkin and don’t allow the use of rentals or house until you finally get to check in and by then you’re too tired to use it and then have to set everything out the night before checkout ends that day before it starts?

Thanks for your feedback, Kenny. We can appreciate the want for a longer vacation! A 4pm check-in is pretty much standard wherever you go. Vacation homes have to be cleaned and prepped after the last guests and this takes time. Sorry for the early pickup of rental gear on check-out day, but gear has to picked up by the vendor to be prepped for delivery for the next guests. Our properties have scheduled pest control services but bugs can still get in through open doors and windows etc. This is normal for beach areas, everywhere. Your feedback has been passed along to the property managers for review. We hope to see you on the Outer Banks again soon.
