This was such a great place for our family vacation. The location is absolutely gorgeous! We were able to fish, feed kale to the turtles, make smores in the fire pit, and play ping pong to our hearts' content. We will definitely consider returning again!
It was a beautiful place and plenty of room for my family of 10 to enjoy without being right on top of each other. The stock pond was fun for the kids to catch fish. We also took a small hike down to the creek for a little swimming. I would highly recommend this rental.
The property is secluded and in a very beautiful area. We were very impressed with how clean everything was. Beds are comfy. The owner was very responsive to any questions. We loved the walking trail. Would definitely recommend!
This place was unbelievable. We stayed one week and has a large group. The family fished, canoed, and wandered the property. We did some art, took pictures, and played games. This place is absolutely gorgeous and Brian was incredible. This place is already on our list of future visits.
The place is very nice and quiet just what we were looking for. There was plenty of room for the 12 of us in my family. Everything you would need is there we cooked in the kitchen, grilled outside(supplied charcoal that was a nice touch)and washed clothes. I think it is about 20 minutes to town which was not bad at all. The hwy is right there and its s strait shot. We spent alot of time at the lake the kids absolutly had a blast fishing. All in all i would definatly come back
Super nice place in the country. Very quiet. Peaceful lake right outside the back door. Hiking trails to the river. Ping pong was a hit with the children. Checkers was fun for the adults. Plenty of yard space to let the kids run off some energy. No internet or cable meant we were kind of off grid. My grandkids had no choice but to talk to me!
This was everything I expected and more. Beautiful, quite and private. Mr Brian was quick to respond and very helpful. I highly recommend this place if your looking to unplug. There is no internet here and who would need it. Don’t usually travel with this many but if I ever need a place this large again I sure hope this place is available. Absolutely loved it.
We loved this property! It was very clean, lot of open space and good furniture. Right next to a lake perfect for fishing, there was table tennis and corn hole to play. It was quite a trek to get to the house but it was nice to be away from other properties. The only downside which turned out completely fine for us is no Wi-Fi but we managed perfectly fine and it was kinda nice to unplug for a couple days. We highly recommend this property.
The location was convenient for our Thanksgiving stay while visiting nearby family. The morning lake views were stunning—bright sunrises and one incredible foggy morning that made for amazing photos. We saw deer, turtles, and plenty of birds, so nature lovers will enjoy this spot. This cabin was comfortable, felt safe, and was well stocked with paper towels, toilet paper, and clean towels. The large dining table was perfect for our family breakfasts and hanging out. The downstairs entertainment area was fun and spacious. Bedrooms were minimally furnished but most beds were comfortable, except the twin beds across from the hall bath, which had thin mattresses and made for poor sleep. The kitchen had the basics, though the frying pan has seen better days. The main downsides: Although told the cabin had been “inspected and sanitized,” that was not the case upon arrival. I contacted Brian immediately, and while he responded within minutes, he walked in without knocking, which startled my family. After discussing the issues, he offered a full refund, but with 8 people, it was too late to make alternate arrangements. We agreed that I would handle the remaining concerns, and we continued with our stay. We ultimately left the home cleaner than we found it, and to be fair, it seems his cleaning crew significantly missed the mark.Overall, we made the most of our stay, and given that we mostly slept there, had breakfast, and returned late, the cabin suited our needs.
