Great house, very clean, well organized. Large property grounds no neighboring homes in sight.
With a family of 11, we had plenty of room.

Thank you for your great review, Esther. We appreciate you!! Please come stay at Heywood Manor again as we continue to add new things.
My siblings and I choose this place because we wanted something close to our parents so we could host Thanksgiving dinner and they wouldn’t have to do any preparation or cleanup. Virgini exceeded our expectations by providing us with Thanksgiving themed table settings for dining room.
The house itself is beautiful and sits at the top of a hill with beautiful sweeping views of the valley.
We would definitely stay here again.

Thank you, Timothy, for a great review! I am glad you and your family had a great holiday at Heywood Manor. It is a special place. Hope to see you again.
This property is lovely especially for a big group wishing to stay together. Virginia was an amazing host and available to answer any questions. We were celebrating our daughter’s graduation from Cornell and the dining room was large enough to seat everyone as well as anything you could need in the kitchen for cooking meals. The beds were comfy, game room is fun and the lake is so beautiful! I highly recommend and have already passed it along to others. Thank you Virginia!!!💖

Virginia was such a kind and thoughtful host! We stayed at the property for New Years and celebrated my daughters 1st birthday. Virginia bought my daughter a birthday present and supplied us with a huge bottle of champagne to celebrate New Years with! Also the house and property was AMAZING! So beautiful, clean, and stocked with anything you might need. We had 11 adults and 3 kids and there was plenty of room for everyone. If I could give this listing 10 stars, I would!!

Thank you so much, Emelie! I appreciate your kind comments...it makes me happy to know my guests enjoyed their stay. I hope you return.
This house and property is beautiful and perfectly accommodated our group of 14 college friends and their now adult children who have been vacationing together for 21 summers. We enjoyed playing games around the dining room table, having fun in the amazing game room, sitting on the deck and admiring the view and all of the space the home offers. We hired a bus to take us to wineries and breweries around Seneca Lake and enjoyed an afternoon exploring the restaurants, bars and shops in downtown Owego. We all agreed we would love to stay here again!

I am so happy to know your group was happy! Thank you for sharing this great review and your adventures. And please do return!
Good rural gathering place for an extended family group. Well stocked kitchen. Good labels. We don't usually watch TV but it was really handy to have one in every room and already connected to streaming services when all the family togetherness got too much. Only thing we struggled with was the bathroom layout but they are all nice bathrooms. Little kids loved the big tub. Washer dryer really handy. Everyone liked the pond but watch out for ticks.
This is probably the most spacious rental of this kind that I've ever found. Some college friends and I used it for a Friendsgiving get together. We came in from NY, VT, and PA. The place was clean, the host had set the big table up beautifully in anticipation of our group dinner. All the rooms for sleeping were great. And the dining and living areas provided plenty of space for lounging, playing board games, and cooking up too much food. The host was friendly and easy to communicate with. We also got the benefit of being around Owego during a holiday event they were having. I would definitely suggest this place to other people.

Thank you for such a great review, John! We enjoyed hosting you and your group, and we hope to see you again!
Virginia's property is beautiful, and the house is big and very welcoming. Ten of us came up for a family wedding a few miles from Oswego. We had dinners in the big comfortable dining room, spent a gorgeous morning with coffee by the pond in the sunshine, and had drinks at night by the massive fire pit. The house has a very welcome and comforting feel. Virginia is a top notch host and strives to make your visit excellent. The house is very well designed for visitors, and it's exceedingly well equipped (aside from the plastic drinkware). Some of the mattresses could use a refresh (not a fan of memory foam) but aside from that it was an excellent choice. Would I book it again? Absolutely.

Thank you for staying at our slice of heaven, Jeffrey, and for your kind praises. I am disappointed to not have earned your complete approval, but I am glad you and your group had a fantastic time at our Owego property. (Side note: I do have glassware/wine goblets, which I would gladly have provided, had I been made aware.)
