This warm, cozy cabin is on the shores of Mille Lacs Lake, a premier Minnesota fishing/recreation destination. It’s a mere 90-minute drive North of the Twin Cities. You can enjoy boating, fishing, hiking, kayaking, catching fish from the dock, bicycling, and golfing at nearby golf courses. Your group will enjoy the screened-in porch, which is steps away from the shoreline. The sounds of the waves lapping the shoreline are relaxing while you read a good book and sip your favorite beverage. As the day’s activities wind down, you will marvel at some of the most spectacular sunsets on the planet.

About the host
Hosted by Doug Lee
Sue and I have owned Lee's Reel Escape since 1995. We have made numerous upgrades to our summer home since we purchased the property. We have made countless family memories over the years raising 3 sons here. Now our 3 sons bring their families (Grand kids Yea!) to enjoy the peacefulness of the cabin and all the surrounding area has to offer.
Why they chose this property
We chose this property because it is situated on the premier fishing lake in Minnesota. Mille Lacs Lake is the closest lake to the Twin City metro area (approx. 90-minute drive) that has the potential for trophy-size walleye, smallmouth bass, northern pike, and muskie. Needless to say, I love to fish. Lee's Reel Escape is in a semi-remote location, yet near to a variety of shopping opportunities suitable to this rural area.
