Loved this property ! Kristen was very helpful in assisting with anything we needed. Loved waking up to all the beautiful birds on the patio each morning. Our favorite thing was stargazing on the top deck at night, what a show!
My family and I stayed at the villa for 3 nights. While it takes a bit of time to get used to the layout of the house, we had a wonderful stay. Our family of four had room to spread out. And, the property manager Kirsten was incredibly helpful and attentive.
The nearby town of Nuevo Arenal has a lot to offer, especially Moya's Place. From the villa we were able to experience all that this area has to offer.
We would highly recommend!
The best rental we have ever stayed in. Beautiful location, beautiful clean and well stocked house. Wake up to howler monkeys and bird sounds every morning. Be aware there is no AC in this house but the breeze is always blowing and the nights are cool. Great location to explore the surrounding area. We did day trips to Tenorio Volcano, Venato Caves and just a site seeing drive to check out the windmills nearby. Very safe neighborhood with friendly neighbors. House manager was very easy to get ahold of, gave us recommendations for local restaurants and answered questions about the house. This is a definite stay again location for us.
We had the pleasure of staying 3 nights in this lovely and very unique home, on the shores of Lake Arenal. It was in a very lush and tranquil location, in a gated community. There were lots of tropical birds and breathtaking views of Lake Arenal and the beautiful surroundings. The home is a wonderful place to relax and take in the beauty of the natural environment. The home is well located, just 12 minute drive to the village of Nuevo Arenal, where you can find all amenities, groceries, gas and restaurants, and about a 30 minute drive to the town of Fortuna, where there are alot of activities, such as the Arenal Volcano Park, hot springs, etc. We highly recommend staying in this home if you are looking for a more secluded and quiet stay away from the hustle and bustle. Thank you to the owners for sharing their tropical oasis.

Stayed with a group of 6 and it met our needs. The location is good; close to Nuevo Arenal and Lake Arenal. The host was very friendly and responded to all questions promptly, and the online guidebook was very helpful.
However, the couches in the upstairs living room were uncomfortable and only sat 5. The balcony seating only sat 2. The kitchen could seat 6, but with no fan it would get way too humid in the kitchen. This also made cooking fairly difficult as it would just get too hot. Some updates in furniture and new ceiling fans would certainly help.

Thanks for that feedback for our consideration. In the meanwhile we feel the furniture options were presented in the pictures posted when you booked our place and we feel there are a plethora of amenities, nature, and beauty available for the price listed at our wonderful home.
Great location - family friendly, close to all things Arenal
Overall we had a great experience at this location. Upon arrival the place was clean and welcoming. The location is great for all things in the Arenal region (Mistico, Rio Celeste, Hot Springs, etc). The experience of waking up to the sounds of rain, listening to Howler Monkeys and seeing Toucans at this property were absolutely amazing. The only issues we had were the check in/out process. We had to plan a time to meet with the property manager to obtain the keys/fob to get into the gated community and then we had to plan a time to leave. The communication behind this was tough as using USA cell phones in this area is almost non existent due to cell coverage. We also lost power for about an hour the day of check out and had to find a neighbor to help us get it back on. Overall it is an absolutely lovely place and the host does a great job of suppling a good amount of information about the area with their website/app. Highly recommend for families, just make sure to have prior communication with property manager about check-in/out process.
