Escape to a tranquil retreat at Sweetwater Stables! Our 30-acre homestead is filled with friendly horses, cows, sheep, and chickens eager to greet you and enjoy your treats. We're conveniently situated just 2 miles from the Lost Sea underground lake, nestled between Sweetwater and Madisonville along Highway 68. We love having wonderful guests like you, so feel free to bring along your furry companions (up to 2) without any pet or cleaning fees!
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

We made a very quick trip to TN and needed a pet friendly place to stay for two nights. We were more pleased than we expected and will probably return to this extremely comfortable VRBO on future trips. The property is very calming and has all the needed amenities. The owners were welcoming and themselves available if needed. We have already been recommending this location to friends & family.

This property is a slice of heaven with beautiful views, farm animals, and country life. The host Dave and his Wife are gracious and friendly. If you have a pet, they will love it there. Dave even indicated that I could have my dog leashless in a fenced area they have next to the unit. I absolutely loved it.

What a great place! We felt relaxed as soon as we got there. David gave us recommendations for local places to visit and eat.This location is centrally located to all the places we planned to visit. The home had everything we needed to live and eat there. We enjoyed feeding the horses apples.

Perfect weekend getaway spot

We loved staying at this apartment. The bed was comfortable and everything we needed was there. It was close to The Lost Sea and the downtown area. The property was so pretty and we enjoyed feeding the horses. I would definitely stay here again.

Hubs and I visited for Valentine’s Day weekend. This property is stunning!! It was very clean, comfortable, and relaxing. Not far from some really good restaurants, and step outside to pet the horses and sheep. Lovely stay!

Excellent! and the best perk was being able to walk around the property farm and see and pet their horses, see several bird nests, bunny rabbits, and beautiful landscapes through their high hills. The place was clean and very spacious with all amenities. Highly recommend if you want to be surrounded by nature and peacefulness.

Relaxing on the Ranch

Enjoy a glass of wine while watching the sunset in the rolling hills of Sweetwater, TN. Property owners were very nice and enjoyed staying in the quiet, clean and comfortable studio apartment beside the stable. Would definitely vacation there again.
