The Downtown Retreat Five is conveniently located in the heart of Ocala, just 0.7 miles from Advent Health and HCA Florida Hospitals, and 1.6 miles from the Historic Downtown Ocala Square for local fare, entertainment and nightlife. This newly renovated peaceful two-bedroom one bath Retreat is one of six Retreats located in a very quiet and private vacation complex owned by Ocala Marion Vacation Rentals. Perfect for the traveling professional, the unit offers a dedicated workspace and windows dressed with blackout curtains for great daytime sleep. For the vacationer, Ocala is an excellent base for exploring Central Florida or simply all that Ocala/Marion County has to offer. The unit is equipped with key-less entry for easy check-in and fully stocked with all amenities needed for a relaxing short- or long-term stay to include a full-size washer and dryer, iron, ironing board, TVs in the living room and both bedrooms, bedside charging stations and a fully stocked kitchen for cooking meals. The unit is conveniently located close shopping (supermarket and retail), restaurants and hospitals. Discounts are offered for weekly and monthly stays. While all units are ground level, three units have 2 steps to access therefore not handicapped accessible and has one reserved parking space. For the comfort of all guests, the complex does not allow smoking, pets nor parties. Your hosts live conveniently near the complex for any needs that may arise.

Great Place!

Stayed for 3 nights for an event at WEC, which is about a 15 minute drive from the apartment. Apartment was very clean with many stores and restaurants nearby. Host was easy to reach and promptly answered questions. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in town.

Super cute!

This property is super cute and clean, very impressed with the thought that went into this stay, special touches down to having some hair products in the bathroom and soap and shampoo. The energy that went into making this VRBO feel cozy and comfortable was much appreciated. I would recommend to anyone staying in the area. Safe and convenient!

Had never been to central Florida before but we will definitely be back! Loved the quietness and variety of the area. So much to see and do within no more than an hour drive. Perfect home away from home

Love the place. It’s Perfect. Denise is an excellent host with excellent communication. Denise has all kind of nice little details all over the apartment. For example, she has 2 types of coffee machines (love it), USB chargers everywhere, etc., etc. Also, plenty of free parking in the property. Highly recommend this place and host. Thank you Denise :-)

Pleasant Stay

Denise always responded accurately and in a timely manner. Her recommendations were helpful in finding things I wanted in the area. The place itself matched the photos and had the listed ammendities. The ammendities such as kitchen appliances and a washing machine made traveling easy. The apartment was tidy and comfortable. Outside of Ocala, there are lot of springs and nature activities. Gainsville is a 45 minute drive away, which is convenient. I would stay here again.

Fabulous

I highly recommend this spot. Perfect for me and my teenage son. The host is wonderful. Every time I texted her, which was a lot, I got a response within 1 hour. We were there for WEC so it’s a perfect location. Lots of traffic on the main streets but the apartment street was very quiet as was the complex itself . Highly recommend it . Very reasonable price for what you get.

My wife and i enjoying our stay at the facility. The kitchens was well supplied with cooking utensils and other cooking equipment, the bathroom clean and without any problems, bed were adequate size with nice size closets, the living area spacious and comfortable. The condo/apartment was located in an area close to businesses, supermarkets, shopping facilities, hospitals, the post office, banks and The Ocala Market. Overall, it was easy to travel to places by car. We would consider returning there.
