About this property

Mountain Log Cabin W/ King Bed, Covered Parking and Arcade!

Just minutes to either Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg! As you enter The Paddington Cabin you will discover the true log cabin feel. The multi-level climate control and high speed internet brings this rustic cabin into the current day.

-King memory foam bed in the upstairs loft!
-Queen memory foam bed in the first floor master bedroom!
-Queen sleeper sofa in Living Room!
-Full memory foam bunk beds in the separate basement perfect for kids on their own or families traveling together who want separation!

Covered parking by the basement entrance and an upper driveway by the main entrance. Fully equipped kitchen for the traveling chefs and an open concept to entertain! Two levels of decks with plenty of covered space to be outside in any weather!

WINTER GUESTS- The last 5 minutes of the drive to the cabin if you come from the parkway can be slippery in the winter. Normal vehicles can access the cabin dry or wet but snow/ice can present a challenge in the neighborhood. The easiest access is from Powdermill Road if conditions are poor. I would recommend purchasing trip insurance through a 3rd party if you are concerned of a weather issue during your stay as we will not be able to provide refunds within certain times of your stay.

We had a great stay at this cabin. The owner was quick with all communication. We had bears in the driveway. So awesome to see them up close.

Anniversary getaway
Since the weather did not cooperate during our stay, it was nice to have the Cornhole and arcade game system available to play. We also got to see a family of 4 bears walk past the cabin the first morning that we were there. The next day there was a Momma bear and her small cub.

Thought there were 3 full bathrooms And basement was great but connected via outside not directly so young child gets scared. But cabin was very nice and peacefull.

Loved the Paddington Cabin
We loved staying at the Paddington Cabin. It's a beautiful spot, lovely cabin and had everything we could need... coffee maker (dual Kcup and drip), toaster, microwave, cooking utensils, sheets, towels, washer/dryer. The location was great, too, about equidistant from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Plus, Cristopher was super responsive any time we had any questions. We would definitely stay here again!

We are a family with a dream to provide others with the experiences we get to enjoy when visiting the Great Smoky Mountains. Please enjoy our property as if it were your own and have a great visit!

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with this property the first time we saw it. It is located perfectly between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg providing easy access to either. It has the cabin feel but being in a neighborhood gives you people to talk to if you so desire. The cabin has been incredibly maintained over the years and has easy access to both the upper and lower floors making it perfect for us and for visitors!

What makes this property unique

Ample parking separates this cabin from most as well as covered parking for your special cars, trucks or motorcycles. It has the feel of a cabin in the woods but neighbors so you don't feel alone!

The location of The Paddington is in a resort neighborhood composed entirely of cabins. There are plenty of humans and wildlife around to give the feel of nature but no the loneliness that sometimes accompanies. The Paddington is two levels of true Tennessee log cabin and a freshly remodeled basement entirely covered in Southern Pine. The separate entrances for the first floor and basement are perfect for two families traveling together or for kids that want to feel on their own. There is plenty of light throughout the cabin to give a daytime feel anytime or just use the lamps to get that cabin feel.

No details were overlooked in the design of this cabin as I personally worked on every part of the remodel and decoration. We have tried to think of everything you'd need from baking sheets all the way down to a pizza cutter!
