Enjoy beautiful lake views and your own private beach at this dog-friendly 2-bed, 1-bath cottage on Cable's Bay. On the peaceful south end of the island, you can stroll along the beach to Cable's Bay public beach, or drive 5min to the Beaver Head Lighthouse and Iron Ore Bay public beach.

The cottage is surrounded by the Beaver Island Dark Sky Sanctuary, making it one of the best places east of the Mississippi for stargazing.

Please note: linen service is NOT included, ferry or flight to the island is required (note you have to make a vehicle reservation with the Beaver Island Ferry Co or you can rent a car on the island for $80/day with pickup at the ferry dock or airport)

We had a wonderful stay! Very clean and comfortable beds! Alec was great to work with and very quick to respond to any questions. Beautiful location and very relaxing. We went to the Irish Music Festival in town and had a great time and made wonderful memories!

Our stay at this charming cottage on Beaver Island was an absolute dream! The location is stunning—in a quiet, beautiful spot with an incredible sunrise view over Lake Michigan. The cottage itself was so clean and inviting, and we absolutely loved having campfires on the beach under the stars. It was the perfect, peaceful getaway. We can’t wait to come back!

Peace and quiet

From the cabin, you can watch and listen to the waves lapping in. Most beautiful beaches and night sky. My favorite spot was sitting on the bench under maple trees next to the beach.

We had an amazing stay at our cottage. Everything was clean and quiet with a fantastic view!! We were greeted by a family of Grouse when we arrived which was also so very cute. All necessities were provided for us to cook in the kitchen. Beds were also very comfy. Great memories!!!

Peaceful retreat
