I thoroughly enjoyed staying in this guesthouse apartment. It is near a train station, a pharmacy, a drug store with many grocery items, and a small supermarket that has everything you need. Also there are at least 2 Family Matt’s and a 7-11 pretty close by. It is not the fanciest, tourist area but I actually appreciated that. It is convenient, quiet, and I never worried about anything.The instructions for checkin could not be clearer and the apartment itself is very clean, well-positioned rooms, and has everything you need for a long-term or short-term stay. I stayed 20 days and always looked forward to returning in the evening. The wifi is good. I had several work-related Zoom calls back home in the U.S., and they were all perfect. The wifi drops off a little in the bedroom, but it can quickly reconnect with no issues. Just a warning to Western visitors who may have never experienced Japanese bedding. It is a traditional tatami mat, shikibuton, and duvet with a makura (pillow). I was used to this situation from staying with my in-laws in Tokyo for years. If you are expecting a traditional Western bed, then you may be alarmed. BUT, DO NOT worry! This setup is incredibly comfortable and after trying it you may want one in your own home.The hosts were excellent and always responded quickly if I had a question. They also provided cleaning services once a week, which I greatly appreciated. I would 100% choose to stay at this location again & highly recommend it.
