House was big. Enough bedrooms and bathrooms for my family to be comfortable. The hot tub was clean. The weather was rainy so no pool or kayaking. But we did get a nice hike in when the rain let up. The game room was fun. We would stay here again. Caution you maybe more comfortable with clearance and AWD on the road into the property.
We really enjoyed our girls get away. The house was remote but driving distance from lots of fun things to explore. It was roomy enough for everyone. There were plenty of places for people to sleep, so it would be great for families with kids. We were under the impression there were 5 bedrooms, but there were only actually four rooms with doors. That’s the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 - one person had to share a room, which wasn’t a big deal. It just wasn’t what we were expecting from the listing.
Going to the house the road is a little rough, if rain it can get slippery. Maps lead straight to the house with the address provided. The house is great for a big family, plenty of things for the kids to do. Every question I had she answered quickly and was very nice. The location is good for what we had planned it’s like in the middle of everything we did so that was a plus.
A great location! All the feel of being isolated far from anywhere while still being close enough to get to the store/food without a huge time investment. It was beautiful in the snow even though we weren’t prepared to be iced in briefly. The owner was extremely responsive and helpful in that situation as well.

Hoping for a nicer place based upon amount paid.
The online photos made the property look more appealing than in real life. The fly situation was horrendous! Obviously black flies have been an on-going issue at this property since we were supplied numerous fly swatters and fly strips. The one fly strip hanging in the kitchen was disgusting, full of dead flies when we arrived. For what we paid, we were expecting a cleaner place to stay. Maybe if we paid half of what we actually paid, it would have met expectations. I texted the host Thursday morning ahead of our arrival but never received a response. So, the host fee was overpriced. :( Also, the game room had an unpleasant smell so no one stayed in there for long. The driveway had some washout areas which need to be repaired. All-in-all, this was the first property I've booked through VRBO where we were disappointed.
Nice place and great communication with the owners.
We had a wonderful time. Only issues was the doors are hard to open. One of the door handles was about to fall off and the kitchen chair was broken.
The house was beautiful and everyone loved the hot tub. The fire pit was great, but since it had previously rained the pit was filled with tons of wet ass and the firewood was wet. Luckily there was a place close to purchase dry fire wood.
Great placec!! We all really enjoyed our stay.
We were a group of 4 families with 10 kids. There was so much to do and while the house was very nice and inviting, we were not scared for the kids to be there because there was not a bunch of breakable decorations all over the place! Even though we never used the TV, it was huge with lots of DVDs. The pool was, of course, the hit for all of us! The hot tub was also nice! There was plenty of space for us all to feel like we had our own families private space when needed. Communication with Jessica was AMAZING. She was always quick to answer and accommodate our needs!
The house was exactly what we where looking for secluded with a driveway for all our jeeps close to trails and the Buffalo river!!
The house was clean and had many kitchen items!!
The outdoor patio was a favorite as we love the outdoors the pool and hot tub was fun entertainment!!
I would definitely stay here again!!!
The cabin itself is very nice and quiet. It had everything we needed to make our meals and the water stayed hot with 11 people in the cabin all taking showers. The only downside is the 1.5 mile gravel road getting to the cabin was rough, but once there it was nice. We would stay there again.
We had a great time in the area hiking and watching the Elk. We really enjoyed the property and were able to relax and make some great memories. Jessica is a wonderful host and was able to help us with any questions.
Enjoyed our stay, & had plenty of room for 4 adult couples. Very nice, home-y amenities, very cozy & the perfect atmosphere if you're looking for a cabin feel. Plenty of deck space. Kitchen had all we needed,, stocked up nicely.. There is only 1 king bed, all the rest were queens I believe. We're all used to kings so that was an adjustment. Really needs to have at least one more king (upstairs). Getting the key out of the lockbox was a little tricky, it was difficult to pull down the small lever to release the key door after matching up the code numbers. Husband had to help with this. Living room has 2 couches to fit 6 people comfortably, so we had to use 2 dining chairs when watching movies together since there were 8 of us. Living room needs a couple of chairs or a loveseat somewhere. Also beware of spiders throughout the cabin. To be expected I'm sure, since you're in the woods. Overall we enjoyed our stay & being together here.
When we arrived it was a nice experience. We left to get dinner. A storm came in and water was raging over the road to get back to the house. Needless to say with kids and some adults terrified of water. It was not fun!
The cabin was very clean and very well stocked. Cabin was more than large enough for our large group and the kids loved the game room in the garage. Owner was excellent to work with before, during, and after our stay.
