For the glacier world in Uttendorf you get with our guest card 20% discount for admission and children under 12 accompanied by an adult driving for free. The wooded area of the village invites you to pleasant snow walks and leisurely walks. In addition, you can reach in a few minutes the beautiful destinations of the Oberpinzgau, such. B. Where to start. No instructions given via Vrbo (as told via Expedia listing) on how to check in. Found the key in an envelope with my name on it, nobody to be seen. Tried contacting via Expedia to see how to check in and got an answer 12 hours later - terrible service from Expedia also. Once checked in, an elderly gentleman found us to introduce with broken English but very friendly and very polite. Wanted the city tax in cash which was no problem, but no introduction or conversation about checkout times etc. The problem came when they knocked on the door to say no payment had been taken when booking so I owed them the full rate there and then, this brought confusion and spent lots of time with Expedia customer services and the owners wife. She was EXTREMELY rude, shouting, not listening, and demanding money even though I was trying to sort it and had proof of payment from bank and invoice from Expedia. This went on for nearly 2 hours and in the end I paid again on their card machine in the hope that I can settle the rest with my bank later. If the lady is reading this, she needs to learn respect and professionalism - all I wanted to do was make it right and get clarification from Expedia first but she made her problem, now my problem. Room was fine, dusty and cobwebs in the corners but the hosts wife has made me recommend people AVOID this place. Horrible customer service and was made to feel like a criminal. AVOID AVOID AVOID.
