We met to celebrate a special family occasion and all of us had everything we needed! Beautiful location, tons to do, host was friendly and very responsive!
What a wonderful retreat! Beautiful property that is close to Ashland and surrounding amenities, but feels a million miles away with the gorgeous landscape and views. We'll be back!
Amazing isolated spot overlooking Ashland. The pool was very refreshing with the hot weather. If you're staying in the primary suite, be aware that there aren't coverings or drapes for all the windows, including in the bath/shower area.Overall, a great retreat for 6-10 people.
Beautiful property, attentive hosts and serenity everywhere you look. Thank you for an amazing vacation. Our entire family enjoyed our stay and roaming the property with its many amenities. Looking forward to our next stay ❤️
We loved staying here at this farmhouse! The views of the vally and mountains were gorgeous! The host was fabulous and was very easy to contact via text. We made good use of the jacuzzi but the pool water was too cold for us Floridians. The location is great, easy car ride to beautiful Ashland.
The house and property are absolutely lovely! Plenty of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy themselves. We particularly loved the stunning views, the fields to roam in with our dogs, and the quick drive to Ashland. The hot tub was a big hit after spending the days hiking, biking, and shopping and Amelia couldn't have been easier to work with. All in all, a perfect vacation.
We had a great time in Ashland. This house has a great layout for a multigenerational trip. There are places to come together and places to have some quiet time. Our host was responsive and very helpful. Check in and check out were easy. Thanks again for having us!
We enjoyed this beautiful farmhouse in a beautiful and serene location with plenty of space for our large family. Amelia was a caring host who made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. We especially loved that the space accommodated furry family members and that it was toddler friendly. We’d definitely return.
Wonderful stay. Large space great for families. Beautiful vistas. Plenty of equipment for activities including pool, bocce ball, horseshoes, basketball and bbq. Ferruginous hawks, owls, quails. Lots of nice little touches in the farmhouse. Easy to communicate with owners. Would highly recommend.
This property was in the hills above Ashland, amazing views and lots of room to roam. It was rainy, windy and cold, so we spend most of our time in the home and in the jacuzzi. The layout was perfect for our family of four and great aunt. Lots of room to spread out.
The outside and property are fantastic. Lots of room to roam and enjoy the view of Ashland and mountains. We loved sipping our coffee by the gas firepit and watching the birds. The inside is roomy and has space for three couples and a couple of kids. An easy 2.2 mile drive to the theater.
Ladies from our family come together once a year. We loved swimming in the pool. It was easy to access. There were three full bathrooms which were clean and good water pressure. The view from the house is gorgeous. The owners were very helpful and available. I would highly r recommend renting this lovely home.
The place was perfect for our family trip - location, amenities and communication were great. The internet went out but there was so much else to do it didn’t bother us, and the host made a major effort to help resolve it. Only consideration is that the window coverings are minimal, so we were all up with the sun.
Overall, great house and wonderful location. 10/10 recommend.
Amelia has done a great job refurbishing this old ranch house, leaving much of the old charm and adding beautiful touches to the inside and outside. We didn't have a chance to use the pool but it was big and clean and added to the ambience. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that we were 8 adult single women trying to fit into 5 actual beds, two of which were twin beds more suited for kids. This place would be better for couples and/or families who could double up in the bedrooms and not mind twin beds and futons. All in all, it provided a great gathering place for lounging and walking.
This was by far the nicest vacation rental we've ever stayed in. The beds were comfortable, the master suite was luxurious, and the views were breathtaking day and night. We will definitely be back.
The one drawback was the glass door to the master suite. There is a clear view of the bedroom and bathtub from the hallway. Because we were traveling with our children, this made using the bathroom and changing awkward. If not for this, we would not hesitate to give five stars.
