Bed was uncomfortable

Pull out bed was broken. Which left a family of 5 on vacation with uncomfortable sleep. They did replace the sleeper sofa with two days left and only gave us a 300 dollar credit which I thought was not enough. I’d recommend another room on the property as the property itself was awesome.

The property and location were both great. One of the hide a beds did not work properly and the head of the bed would fall down. Other than that, it was perfect! We had an eight year who slept on the bed so it was not an issue for us.

Nice, but noisy

The building location is great! Relatively central to things east and west. Henderson State Park is right next door so I went there first before my check-in time and enjoyed the pristine beach! The actual unit is furnished nicely and I was a single traveler. It is close to the stairs and elevator so you can hop up and down quickly. The main issue is noise. I am a very light sleeper and the building is indeed located directly under the airport jet path, but airplanes are not that frequent. Also the main terrace area blasts music 24/7, some of which you can just make out from the bedroom. Moreso the issue is that this unit is directly across the hall from the fitness center, and boy oh boy, you can hear every single step being taken on the treadmills from this unit. It transmits throughout the whole unit. First time I heard it I had no idea what was going on. There are also weird daytime water pipe howling noises that come from the wall by the deck. I wore earplugs (I always bring them!) and sleeping was fine despite the weird noises, which do subside somewhat after 10PM. This 2nd floor unit is not high enough to see anything on the balcony but the pool area. However, it was a great place to lay out and get sun in the afternoon! The private beach area wasn't too crowded. Management was very responsive. The toilet was running the moment I checked in and they had someone fixing it within 20 minutes. Bring your own soap and shampoo- the "starter" toiletries are less than stellar. Wasn't soapy and only lasted 3 showers before melting away and becoming unusable. All in all, I really did enjoy this place and unit! I just wrote all those things above to give the full picture for future travelers.
