We absolutely loved our stay! The property was pretty quiet, and it was a very easy drive to both Ashtabula and GOTL. The community deck was a nice added bonus!
Was here for the USATF Masters Championships at the Spire, and this cottage was perfect for me and my small dog. It was actually larger then it looked in the pics. The pics didn't show it, but there is a washer and dryer in the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable, and the area was very quiet and peaceful. This pic was taken on the community deck. Great stay!
Great place to stay. The house was very clean and cozy. Very pleasant outdoors too. Had a fire both nights and just overall really enjoyed it. Will definitely look to stay again.
Cute cabin! We stayed here for a short weekend getaway and it was perfect for us. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Would stay again.
Pros: Host was nice, communicated well, house was clean and stocked with toiletries as stated. Plenty of room for 2 people. Good air conditioning and a shared community porch at the end of the row for viewing the lake. The listing is accurate for what you are receiving in my opinion.Con: The only unexpected issue with this home when we stayed and the reason for me to just give an ok review is it had an overwhelming smell of “weed”, one that couldn’t be covered with air freshener. We only ended up staying one night out of the 2 and went to a hotel for the second night. I did contact the host so hopefully this issue is resolved before any other non 4/20 friendly guests stay.
We would certainly stay here again. The cute cottage was exactly “as listed” and quiet. we loved having coffee in the screened porch in the morning and wine on the community deck in the evening.
This cottage was a great decision to rent for the weekend. Super clean, brought our 2 pugs and they had a blast. Our host, Jeff, was easy to communicate with and great to deal with. We definitely recommend this property.
