The home had everything we needed and the view and beach was amazing. The property owner was always quick to respond to our questions. Would definitely come back!
We loved our stay. I wasn’t ready to leave Check in instructions were clear and easy. The host answered quickly when we had a couple questions. This place is very well stocked. It was like stepping into someone’s home, not a vacation rental. The cabin is so cozy. We loved that the beach was only steps away. We are rock hunters and never even went to other beaches like we usually do. We had everything we needed right there. We loved the fireplace. It was pretty chilly during our stay so we made a fire a couple times. To sum it up, it was perfect for us. Hope to stay there again. Very highly recommend!

Thank you for the lovely review. We are so happy you had a good time and the weather was pretty good. You never know this time of year!
Very nice cabin was clean and accommodating! It was a little difficult for the snowmobile trailer but was able to be parked just took a few guys watching as backing it into driveway and road being narrow! We loved the fire place the best especially on those cold nights!!
My family thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property. We especially enjoyed the front and back decks, the beach, fire pit and chairs, and of course the beautiful Lake Superior view!
Beautiful views. Great space for the dog. Millions of stars at night. Can’t wait to come back.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in
Disliked: Communication
Do not rent this property early June. Horrible experience with the mosquitos and black flies. So terrible we in fact left early. We've stayed in the UP multiple times before so have experienced the UP mosquitos but this was on a whole other intolerable level. Beach was gorgeous but could only enjoy when there was a strong breeze or it was sunny and really hot. Cabin is a true cabin and more on the 70s rustic side but clean. There was a Culligan water dispenser which was a bonus. Wifi connectivity is terrible if you need service for anything work related good luck. Wished we were able to enjoy the outdoors more, whole reason for the trip.

So sorry you had a bad experience. I was staying next door the same time as you. The mosquitoes were horrible, I mosquito sprayed mon 8th but you had already left. There were no black flies.
I’ve been here all week. They’re coming soon as it warms up. That’s the UP and once again, so sorry you had a bad experience. We do supply mosquito suits and multiple sprays. Did you not try those if you while you were rock hunting?
Very clean and comfortable. Host communications were great. Perfect pet accommodations. Exceptional beach for walking, rock hunting or just relaxing. Will definitely make a return visit. The whole stay was seamless.
The cottage was great, everything was clean and cozy. We had an Aussie and a Corgi with us. They loved it and were crazy about the beach. It had great parking and a nice deck in front and a bigger one out back. Spectacular view!I would recommend this place and hope to come again.
The view was amazing. We didn’t get to see the northern lights but the sunrises and sunsets made up for it! Elyse was an excellent host.

Thank you so much for staying and the nice review. I have yet to see the lights after 54 years! They were shining beautifully in Grand Marais last mo at my friend's house yet we had none. Hopefully you'll see them next trip. Enjoy your fall.
This was an amazing location and the perfect cozy home to see the leaves start to turn and spend time walking the beaches. The owner was incredibly helpful accommodating a last-minute trip.
Our second stay here and it was fantastic. The new stairs to the lake are a great improvement. The location is Superior. Hosts have responded to visitors’ suggestions and we noticed. Comfortable and cozy cottage with lots of space for any activities, nice amenities, a great fireplace, and the best stretch of beach. We will be back.

Thank you so much for your repeat stays, it's the ultimate compliment. Chris is very happy you noticed the improved landing of staircase. It was a challenge as there is 6' of boulders below the sand at the bottom. The bluff changes drastically every 2-5 yrs! The water used to be up to the bottom of the staircase. Now we have 200' beach. Crazy. Cheers friends, hope to see you again.
Lots of great amenities! The WiFi/phone connection is a little spotty but enough to get stuff done! Excellent communication!!!

Thank you so much for choosing us for your vaca and hope you had fun. Our wi-fi is so unpredictable. They have been installing fiber optic lines all over the UP for 2 yrs, so far the only results have been cutting through our current wi-fi lines in 7 different spots, destroying our electric fence and drilling through our new sewer line in St Ignace house. Assuming this project is costing the state billions.
Peaceful and relaxing!!!! Lots of stones on the beach, found a few yoopers stones bring a good uv light. Swim out past the rocks water is wonderful and sandy.
