About this property

Walk-to-Ski Historic Old Town Cottage with Sauna

One of Park City's oldest buildings, the historic Mary Shea House has been painstakingly restored to preserve its mining heritage and offer the best of modern luxury.

Situated just four doors up from Historic Main Street and a very short walk to the nearest ski run, this home is perfectly positioned to offer the best of everything Park City has to offer. The historic coal shed has been converted into a sauna.

An addition next door shares one small bathroom wall with this cottage. While you may see other guests outside the house, each unit is completely private, with separate entrances.

The sauna is private to this cottage, with the exception of rare times our family stays next door and might use it.

This home includes one off-street parking spot.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

Hi, we're the Knights. We hope you enjoy your time in Park City as much as we do.

We bought the Mary Shea House — along with the annex nextdoor — in 2020.

Built in the late 1880s, the Mary Shea House is one of the oldest surviving homes in Park City. The original owners were the Sheas — Jerome, Mary, Cornelius, and William. Not long after they moved in, Jerome died of miner's lung. Mary raised her two boys here and became a key figure in Old Town life.

After William passed away in 1960, the house was sold and then sold again in the 1970s to the family who built the annex. We bought the house from that family and see ourselves as caretakers of this little piece of Park City History.

Why they chose this property

With its location right in Old Town and beside the resort, the Mary Shea House is a unique way to experience the intersection of old and new in Historic Park City.

What makes this property unique

Guests love the location...walking distance to everything.
