Pictures of the neighborhood and overall area where cabin is located is in the photos of the listing. Guest is responsible for reading the entire listing, including the photos, prior to booking.

- Please note that this is a natural wooded area where there are bugs, insects, critters, and potential bears. These factors, unfortunately, come with the territory of the property. We do have a pest control company that routinely treats the property. We ask that you please be mindful and clean up any food that could attract any of these creatures. We also recommend bringing bug spray and wearing a light jacket at night if outside.

Excellent Vacation Spot near Dollywood Park

The house was great. Slept our family of 7 comfortable. Very clean and well kept property on the inside. The location was 5 mins from Dollywood park and 15 to pigeon Forge, and 30 mins from Downtown Gatlingburg. The only thing we would have liked more was some closets to hang clothes. limited spots to hang jackets but we made it work. We recommend this place for families.

The property was exactly as advertised, quiet gated community. Everything was clean and well laid out. Instructions were easy to understand and any questions or concerns were answered quickly. Very close to restaurants and attractions, we would highly recommend this property.

Even with bad weather conditions we had a great experience. The property even sent us water when the water froze during a freak cold weather event. Facility exceeded our expectations and it was right next to Dollywood!

Joy’s Retreat was excellent!

From check in to check out our stay was top notch! Hidden Springs Resort was literally 5 minutes from Dollywood and only a few minutes more from other Pigeon Forge attractions. The cabin was wonderfully decorated and the back deck was a great place to hang out. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub too. Plenty of towels and incidentals. The lower level game room and bunk room were quite a hit with our grandsons! Would highly recommend this cabin to other guests.

Dark and cluttered

Smaller, darker, aged, and cluttered more than the luxurious pictures would suggest. Furniture is placed differently than pics giving a different feel in person. Outside deck and dining table covered in leaves and is dark brown deck.

Awesome deck views and friendly owner!

Our group of 8 (2 families... 4 boy cousins and 4 adults plus our dogs!) stayed for our spring break. Stephanie was so prompt in responding to any questions we had. She made us feel welcome and check in/out was a breeze! The neighborhood is nice, quiet, and the views from the amazing deck were just gorgeous! We loved having the downstairs space for the boy cousins to have their own area too. We didn't go to Dollywood but you can't beat this cabin's location if you plan to visit there. We loved the indoor pool as well! My in laws had the room with the jetted tub and loved that. The kitchen had everything we needed and the house was very clean and everyone said the beds were comfy. Our group has stayed in many cabins and usually felt cramped but not this time! Even the one morning it rained we still were able to sit outside in the rockers with our coffee since part of the porch was covered and the hot tub was under the awning too. We are big cornhole players so we loved playing right out on the deck! We recommend the Rocky Top Mountain Coaster nearby and definitely eat at El Ranchero Loco by the coaster! Soooo good! About a 30 minute pretty drive to many of the national park trailheads. We spent most of our time hiking and highly recommend it if you're able to get out there! Thank you, Stephanie, for a great stay and our dogs thank you too!

Good but disappointing

The property was advertised to be larger. The game room was stuck off in a basement. No one seemed to want to go down and bump their heads so they could play pool. There's no chance of seeing bears. There was too many houses, people noisy pool sticks needed to be replaced. The hot tub worked after my son did an assessment and had to hit a breaker box in order to use it. It took 5 or 6 hours to heat up. We hardly got to use that hot tub. The there were leaves all over the place everywhere. If I had a leaf blower I would have blown off the deck and the front deck entrance way. I will say we appreciated getting proper towels and I appreciated Stephanie being able to communicate with me on some of the issues. The refrigerator was very scratched up. It did work. It did cool our items but it was very scratchy and needed updating the I had to kill wasps the first night there. I'm not sure where they were coming from. The doors were not opened overall, if I could find a cabin that I like, I would plan to stay there regularly with my family and visit Dollywood. We enjoyed the Dollywood stay and enjoyed the easy location close to Dollywood. Thank you for asking. Have a good year

Poor property management

The cabin looked great but the management was disappointing. The cabin didn’t have running water! Apparently they were having issues with their pipes. I contacted the manager Stephanie, who said she would have someone out right away. We cancelled plans to wait on the maintenance person and no one ever came. The property manager never checked to see if the water ever came back on or let us know why there was a delay. I would reach out and she would tell me they’re working on it but again, no one came and there was no running water. I asked for a transfer to another cabin w running water and she declined and made no offer to get us to a cabin or hotel with water and sanitation and would not refund our trip even though the cabin did not come as advertised. She said she could insta cart some drinking water but would not do anything to ensure we have running water to take showers, flush toilets, wash dishes. We spent thousands of dollars on flights, time off work, and an expensive cabin and were shocked at the apathy of the manager to even try to help fix the problem. I question if she ever called a maintenance person in the first place since none ever came. We went to the store for drinking water and got locked out in below-freezing temperatures for hours with our children when the lock codes suddenly didn’t work. We waited for hours before we could reach someone to get in. NO credit was provided and Stephanie gave a manipulative response to avoid accountability.

We're really sorry about the inconvenience caused by the lack of running water during your stay. Unfortunately, the pipes froze due to the weather, which was completely beyond our control. We made every effort to send someone to fix it, but even our maintenance team or plumber couldn't resolve an issue caused by nature. We reached out to you multiple times during your stay to arrange for some water to be delivered via Instacart to assist you, but we didn't receive any response, so we assumed everything was fine at the house. Please know that ensuring our guests' comfort is always our top priority, but sometimes situations like this are simply out of our hands. Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience caused, and we did our best to assist you during this unexpected circumstance.
